The afternoon tea scene would have been so much better without the revelation about Audrey's suicide attempt and the Rula Lenska sideshow. Four old friends enjoying themselves after a long time, gossiping, chatting and reminiscing would have been much better IMHO. There would have been no need for a debrief or agreement to keep a regular check on Audrey.

I was talking to an elderly neighbour earlier, towatds the end of our chat he said he is often lonely. I think lockdown, which didn't really happen on Coronation Street, has been really tough on a lot of older people.
