I mean honestly - how many people are going to want to start cooking their 3 course meal at 9pm on a Friday night?????

I may be. Still, yum yum...

JodieG1 · 18/01/2008 15:09

I saw him speaking on tv earlier and he has Chris Moyles cooking with him so it's not all going to done at "chef" spead.

Looks good but as I don't have a tv in the kitchen I won't be following along.

2happy · 18/01/2008 15:13

dh reckons it's going to cause record waiting times in A&Es up and down the country - 9pm on a friday. Trying to cook a 3 course meal and watch Gordon at the same time whilst 3 sheests to the wind...

SaMumInUK · 18/01/2008 15:13

Not planning on cooking this at 9 tonight. But is it just me or is that a VERY long list of utensils you need to cook up this storm. Can you imagine how long it would take you to wash/pack the dishwasher after you have had this slap up meal. After you have spent most of the night cooking and eating this who would want to be doing the dishes???

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2008 15:19

Must admit I don't actually fancy Gordon. He's too crinkly and bouffant for me. He lives close by though...

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2008 15:21

Yes I agree SaMum. Dishwasher and DP will be doing ours.

CountessDracula · 18/01/2008 15:21

I thought about doing this but i would have to keep running to the tv and back to kitchen

bossykate · 18/01/2008 15:23

lol cd! that was my thought - but how on earth is it possible... it is aimed at people with tvs in their kitchens...

SaMumInUK · 18/01/2008 15:23

It just sounds like a lot of fuss for a Friday night. After a busy week I just want a quick easy meal a glass of wine and a nice relaxing program on the telly not something that gets me in the kitchen and cooking for an hour!

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2008 15:28

Again I love having a tv in my kitchen. Am obviously super common.

CountessDracula · 18/01/2008 15:29

why would anyone have a tv in kitchen?

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2008 15:30

Because we spend all our time in there. I like to watch it while I'm waiting for things.

FarcicalAlienQueen · 18/01/2008 15:30

oh i see this was already covered lower down! had only read the title and cd's post. don't worry about it sunshinemummy and good luck tonight!

bossykate · 18/01/2008 15:32

but that's what radio 4 is for.

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2008 15:34

Again probably v. common but have only listened to Radio 4 once and that's when friend was on it. Must admit I have a penchant for trashy tv (true life movies anyone?).

Aitch · 18/01/2008 15:34

yes to eddie mair but if you're cooking in the afternoon then i suggest iplayer to avoid those bastard old gimmers banging on about their massive savings on meanie box.

bossykate · 18/01/2008 15:40

the afternoon play is often pants too!

prettybird · 18/01/2008 15:44

I suppose I could transfer the fancy new flat screen TV we got for our fancy "new" (ie re-decorated) bedroom, 'cos it uses an internal digital receiver as there wasn't an ariel point in the bedroom.

But I probably won't bother.

nailpolish · 18/01/2008 15:44

i love the afternoon play

my friend in america has a BUILT IN telly onher firdge

v comoon there she tells me

nailpolish · 18/01/2008 15:45

pb you have a telly in your BEDROOM? tsk tsk

Aitch · 18/01/2008 15:46

i think the afternoon play is sometimes shit, i must admit. and gardeners' freaking question time... that's on every time i switch on the radio. only eddie keeps me sane, i swear.

Sunshinemummy · 18/01/2008 15:48

Hmm, I also have a telly in my bedroom. Am a bit of an addict.

TrinityRhinosDhWonHerAnIPOD · 18/01/2008 15:49
