New detective series starts Sunday 17th

Murder in Provence is a three-part series based on the books by M.L. Longworth.

The series follows Antoine Verlaque, Investigating Judge in Aix-en-Provence, and romantic partner Marine Bonnet as they investigate the murders, mysteries and dark underbelly of their idyllic home. Their efforts are aided by Hélène, a detective and Antoine’s trusted confidante.

Once again I won't get to see it as it goes out on ITV and for some reason Virgin TV in Ireland doesn't give us ITV but will probably have the show on 6 weeks later than ITV 🙄

Ooh I’ve seen two of these on Britbox, really enjoyed them.

This isn’t a spoiler, but I found it quite funny that everyone has very very French names, all pronounced in a very very French way, but every other word is English. It works, just a bit funny when an obvious Mancunian goes full on with the French pronunciation.

I watched the first episode when I had a Britbox episode and thought it was really dull!

We tried it as we love Roger Allum but it just felt so odd and fake, couldn't get on with it at all.

Shame as he's usually only ever in good things!
