It seems as if the umpires were afraid of doing anything drastic to him because he has support and some people like him.
I wonder what the old Wimbledon authorities, who told off the Duchess of Kent for taking a sick child into the royal box without permission, would have made of him.

I'm surprised that Wimbledon is on today as I thought they didn't play on the middle Sunday ?

The whole situation was completely out of control.
He creates chaos and then denies he did anything.
I think they knew if they defaulted NK then security would have to be called.
Totally agree about the Narc comments.
This is an abusive, bullying male in action.

ST reacted to the abuse and bullying when faced with an umpire who failed, not his finest hour but was brave enough to apologise and call out NK.
This is classic Narc behaviour goad/ bully, victim reacts, bully denies and pounces on the reactive behaviour.

I suspect that behind the scenes there are meetings to decide what will happen going forward.
There needs to be something more joined up regarding persistent poor behaviour and fines.
Anyone who is fined is benched for 3 months.

I've never seen as many empty seats as there are this year , makes me wonder if the corporate tickets are fewer this year or just the cost of it all putting people off?

80s yes, it was decided a couple of years back to bring Wimbledon in line with the other slams (I got confused and thought it was meant to happen last year and disappointed when it didn't ). Roland Garros actually plays on the Sunday prior to the stat of the championship there too.

Apparently the process for reselling tickets when people leave early has been made more complicated so people aren’t bothering. If that’s true it might explain empty seats at the evening matches.

Poor Tim is never going to be allowed to forget about his disqualification!

Ugh I do not want to see Kyrgios trying to justify his behaviour. Feel a bit sorry for Stef - he’s a sensitive soul

Kyrgios reminds me a bit of Ilie Nastase (really showing my age now) who was very naughty indeed. He was a sublime player who never won Wimbledon. He had a charm about him, which made him a popular watch. Bloody gorgeous man 😍

Including repeatedly asking Pam Shriver if she was still a virgin, asking young female players for their room number,verbally attacking female journalists, comments about Serena Williams unborn baby.

i really hope that NK is dealt with appropriately now.
Players stating they wont play him wont help, it will just be counted as a default.
He needs to be disciplined for verbal abuse, warned and then defaulted.

I wont watch any of his future matches unless he plays Rafa.
