I don't think they faked Phil's death at all. Someone did die, it just wasn't him. It was only "faked" insofar as they made the viewers and Sharon etc think it was him.

There is as much evidence that Vincent died as there was that Keanu died.

I'm not entirely convinced they'd use the "fake shooting video" line again so quickly but you never know!

Where/why did Keanu go? I remember a tearful goodbye in an airport but not any other details.

I've never been a huge Stacey fan, but by God is that girl a good actress.
She's just so natural. Her facial expressions (including the ugly ones of concentration - she's so pretty, but you know what I mean!) are so true to life.

Lacey turner is brilliant and with the combination of her and Gillian wright as Jean is an amazing double act.
They do have some talented actors on EE
James Bye ( Martin ) is doing strictly apparently.
I'd love to see steve McFadden do it too !

I hope Mo coming back was only for this week. She’s a pointless character and not performed well (to put it kind of politely).

I never liked Mo much : she always was a bit part and tends to overact sometimes.
It was nice seeing them all having a laugh though!

I did feel like the scenes with Jean were very much a Bi-polar/mental health public service announcement though. Very well acted by all involved - New
Lily has definitely grown into the role.

A lot of EE is public service information films : Jean and Stacey , the recent scenes with Chelsea and Amy , the subject of male rape and consent. Their target audience for these matters probably doesn't watch EE anyway.
It does this, but other times it is completely unrealistic too ( such as putting a dead man into a holdall on wheels without anyone seeing any mess, coming back from the dead etc!)

Sometimes it's more obvious than others. These scenes just seemed particularly "lecture like" in their wording. Chelsea's seemed quite natural.
