My OH and I binge on Mondays (with young kids we are knackered after the weekend). I have avoided posting on here as I didn't want to spoil. Maybe we need an eastenders binge -watch thread.

I'm a bit confused about this new family as they seem to know Phil? There seems to be some new faces this week, so possibly a bit of an EE transition period soon? We might see the axe dropping a bit in the near future maybe.

Without giving anything away, think this week's storyline could have been done better. Would have liked an extension of the eve/suki love story and seen her unpredictable side they hinted at when she came out of prison. Would have intertwined the characters a bit more, however let's see how this pans out.

Ravi arrived on a motorbike so unless he propped the bag on the back , he must've stolen his Dad's carkeys ( I don't think he'd have any issue rootling around in a Dead Mans Pockets )

In a couple of weeks , he'll knock on Suki's door and barge his way in shreiking "You bitch" !

Phil met Ravi ( big muscles ) in prison.
He helped him to fake his own death so he could get out
Kheerat was once in business with Ben at the arches , but that has stopped now he found out that Ben called the protection off Jags in prison and he died. So not sure what is happening with the arches now.
It's all intertwined , hence why Sharon offered Suki a bit of financial help ( which has now been withdrawn too)

Ravi is bad news all round.
Phil will have his back I suppose , but I think he is mostly as manipulative as his own dad was :(

Ah ok, I was wondering who the body was. It wasn’t really explained at the time, so how did Phil/whoever bribe the guards? It would have been obvious to someone (guards, paramedics, whoever) that Ravi wasn’t dead. Was that part of the deal that Phil had with the policewoman? You pretend Ravi is dead and I’ll give you inside information? Except he HASN’T given her any information and Ravi is just walking around so what was the point of his death being faked? They could just have quietly released him 🤔.

No. Ravi didn't fake his death. It was Phil who everyone thought had died. When in reality, the dead body belonged to that guy who was going to kill Phil (forgot his name now, but something with a C I think).

What I'd quite like to know is what Ravi was in prison for in the first place? He seems to not like woman beaters/rapists going by what he said after Suki told him about his dad. So likely not that 🤔

Blonds, I'm sorry about the confusion!
Someone below was asking how Phil knew the new family and I was referencing the story line when Phil was in prison and he saw the lady detective and he managed to get Ravi to help him and make it look as if he had died so he could get out. So far he hasn't had to ' grass ' anyone up , but I think the detective is keeping him on the back burner so to speak as a possible informer in the future ( maybe) in return for his early release.
Anyway, Ravi was being released too and that's when we all discovered his dad was the man who does business deals with Suki and Kheerat

Then when the body turns up , Billy will say "Yeah I thought it looked a bit grubby " but will 'forget' who he sold it to unless a few fresh £20 notes are wafted at him , or Ravi gives him a kicking ( I'm voting for the kicking )

Yes I noticed that too. He picked it up off the floor to put it back on the shelf where it usually sits.

My theory is that Ravi is doing all this to take Kheerat's place in Suki's mind. I'm not sure why though, except there must be some historic beef between them from years ago.

Only Ravi's fingerprints would be out of place though.

Ravi and Kheerat definitely seem to have History of some sort.

I missed a lot of Eastenders due to being away on holiday, and am just catching up now.
This is awful to say, but I really hoped that Ben had carked it.
