The new lines person uniforms are much better - they used to be quite unflattering - I wonder if the Father Christmas linesman is at Wimbledon this year?

Fizzy Oh, I hope the Father Christmas linesman is back the old uniforms weren't very flattering at all were they- although I'm not sure I'm all that keen on the stripey ball kid uniforms.

I don't think Emma will be in the tournament long- she seems prone to injury as much as anything. The Beeb have made a video about her though, and they are going to make sure we see it every rain delay.

I did so much ironing yesterday, and I wasn't feeling 100%, so I very lazily did it sitting down .

Really, the match they should be talking about is the Alcaraz/Struff one- because as we know, J-L is fond of giving the big names a Struff-ing- and Alcaraz is an unknown quantity on grass anyway.

It's quite therapeutic, ironing sitting down, Fizzy , I have a great ironing board that is just the right height.

A ball boy has fainted or something in the Burrage match- for some reason, it is being left to Burrage to look after him- Tsurenko doesn't seem to happy about the delay.

It's not a good look for the tournament when the players are looking after the ball kids. Very poor organisation- all the courts should have a first aider nearby, surely?

Hello do you mind if I join the thread? For once, I'm not away with work over Wimbledon fortnight and I'm so looking forward to watching as much as I can.

I'm also ABD for the mens and I do think Berettini has a chance. I haven't seen much of Ruud but my friend put a bet on him ages ago! I'd love Rafa to win but his side of the draw looks much tougher than Robodjock.

The womens draw I don't really mind, happy just to see some good tennis - can't watch grunters or screamers though.

I'm Scottish so praying Andy does something miraculous (and it will take a bloody miracle) and am also a big fan of Gordon Reid - the wheelchair tennis is AMAZING and such fun to watch.

I am a huge fan of Ruud - but I don't think grass is his thing (which he freely admits- grass is for golfers, he joked earlier in the year).

But it would be a big payday if he won!
