Anyone watched the new episode of Hotel Inspector?

im a big fan of Alex but couldn’t understand why she started yelling and shouting at the owners. She’s been critical but supportive in previous episodes, especially the earlier ones with lockdown owners

As soon as they said the young couple had been in real estate in Dubai you just knew it would be downhill all the way. I’d have run a mile if I’d come across either of them and asked to see other agents.

And I doubt the young woman had ever been told no in her life by her parents. I felt very sorry for them having to cope with two such chancers and there overbearing personalities and I hope they wake up to it all soon.

I remember those days but the swearing seemed contrived. Nowadays though it seems to come from the heart. And her use of darling - I love it. But then she’s my girl crush and it’s been that way for years.

In last weeks episode she was wearing a nice top with a lovely trim around the sleeves and if anyone could find it online for me I’d be very grateful. I can’t find it at all when searching.

I use to think she was good until the program shown of her opening her own hotel, and the mess, tantrums and tears she had, no control, no composure, the way she spoke to her contractors was dreadful, terrible project management from her, I totally lost respect for her, it became clear she was out of her depth and hasn’t learnt the business from being within it.

I think her very formidable and stern mum is a huge figure in her life, she said she would never want to disappoint her, and being in partnership with her was too much for her to,cope,with at times.

I was scared of disappointing her mother, and I was just watching it all.

She is my girl crush! I won't have a word said against her!

Yesterdays episode was very good.

It really was. It was a classic Hotel Inspector episode. It is also so great when those that ask for her help then also go and listen and follow the advice.

Yes I enjoyed yesterday but I hope his lease to buy contract is watertight excuse I would hate the current owner to change their mind after he has turned it into a successful business.

She used to be a lot more sweary and more blunt in her criticism in the early series and then toned it down.

The chap was Italian so she seemed much more human , warm and empathetic with him.

She's definitely got 'meaner' over the years. She was much warmer and more supportive in the earlier series'. I'm assuming the producers tell her to be harsh

Ewwwwww. That pan hasn't been cleaned for decades.

That pan looks like any pan in a professional kitchen I've been in.

She didn't give the hotel owners a hard time at all like she usually does, he was quite a genial chap who laughed at everything !

She was only cross the first couple of episodes, she's back to firm but fair now.

We've started watching the current series after not watching for a few years

Alex seems to have totally changed. I don't remember her being anywhere near as cutting as she is now

Her personality seems different to what I remember. I used to really like her but not really anymore

I suspect she's got less patience due to menopause, teenage kids and possibly having had covid 😉

I've missed some of this series but agree she's changed. The episode the other night she was slaughtering them over the bedrooms saying how awful they were and she would normally have walked out and not stayed there. I said to DH she seems to be massively overreacting and he agreed. They were bland but not awful by any means.
Then there was the patronising 'daaarling' every other word when talking to the female owner.
I normally love Alex but agree she's now coming across of cold, sarcastic and arrogant this series.

She is sexy, and you can tell she has a killer muscly bod under her clothes. She seems not to care too much about her appearance which I think makes people all the more attractive. I'm straight and the same age as her and very envious.

The frying pan and cooker tops in the latest episode were revolting. I wonder how many people will want to eat there after seeing them? I wouldn't!

She runs apparently. So that explains her figure. She also smokes! I think she is incredibly sexy and I love her clothes but her skin makes her looker older than she is. She looks tired and hungover all the time and her skin is very lined.

Agree she does come across as cold , sarcastic and arrogant. I think the producers want her to be the new female Gordon Ramsay.

What makes you say that? She wears very expensive jewellery, good clothes,make up ,drives a good car. They might not be your taste but she definitely isn't someone who doesn't care about her appearance.
