I'm towards the end of episode one and I am hooked!
I've just watched the episode where (SPOILERS) William does and it was so beautifully put together. The music, the shots... ahhh so heart wrenching! I was balling! Amazing acting!

Safe to say I'm really going to enjoy working way through this one. I hate to say it but I find Rebecca abit annoying... I feel like Jack is most certainly painted as the hero and she ungreatful but o imagine this will develop over the season!

Officially the best programme ever to hit our tv screens. I'm gutted it's finished now as I've loved every moment of it.

This is great to hear. I am half way through series one and think it’s great so far.

I’ve just started season 2! I don’t know what it is, because it’s not really about anything and I find all the characters really awful people and so unlikeable but I fucking love it and can’t stop watching!

Finished the whole lot last week. I don’t think you’ve met my favourite character yet so I won’t spoil it but I absolutely loved it. Enjoy ❤️.

I'm about five episodes into the first series. Absolutely love it - I'm not quite sure why, but there's something about it that's hooked me!

So I'm on season 3 now and I just still cannot accept Miguel 🥺

You grow to love Miguel. In the last series there is an episode about his life and that is the episode i have cried the most at. He is a very underrated character!

I was going to start a thread as I’ve watching season 2, very slowly and love it to death! I’m very late to the party so thought everyone else had seen it. I’m in good company!

I've just started watching this week and am already through season one. I don't think I've loved a series so much in a long, long time.

I've just finished it too, I think it's my favourite tv series ever. Going to start from the beginning again.

I’ve been binge watching on prime and I’m about ep 10 of Season 6. I think the last few eps are tear jerkers…

It's like therapy.

I've mentally worked through so much complicated family shit watching it over the years.

Nothing ever really happens most of the time and yet it's the 'nothing' that has made me sob on numerous occasions.

Best series Ive ever watched. So so clever feeding little titbits anout the past or future and leaving us guessing.

And lulling uou into an "oh this is an okay episode nothing major" then bang!

Also as pp says all the psychological observation about people's behaviour and families. So good.

Absolutely love this show, it’s one of the few shows I’ve stuck with season after season

I'm so jealous of those watching for the first time.

I agree it's not 'action packed' TV but it does the small details of everyday family life so perfectly. Every character is flawed and just human, it's rare for TV to get this right (I often find the good guy/bad guy narrative quite dull). TIU does nuance so well and is relatable for everyone.

Beth, Kevin & Miguel are my absolute faves.

So I'm on season 4 and I'm not enjoying it AS much as previous seasons.
I'm just finding the Randal racial storyline and jack alcoholism storyline a bit tiring. I want to see something different. Jacks character has changed sooooo much since season one!
Still loving it though :)

Stick with it. I occasionally had a break and cane vack to it/had a run of a few I wasn't so into and then bam! Another cracker of an episode or a bit that adds to the jigsaw. Its so amazing.
