Yes he does, hurrah!

I feel like Tommy Paul has been around forever and looks exactly the same.

OP posts:

And he's only 25. Did his dad play or something? I'm confused!

I think he's just been around a while. Or maybe there was another player with a similar name? ConfusedGrin

Great questioning from Inverdale there- the weather, ffs GrinOf course it's not really that hot. Getting ott about the heat is British pastime. For the 2 days we get sun.

JaneJeffer · 16/06/2022 13:20

Just looked him up and he was in the US Open in 2015 so has been around a while.

X post Grin he looks older than 25 I think

I was wating Doctors and am surprised to find Kudla has won the first set against Matteo. From a ranking point of view, it will not be good if he loses now.

Raahh · 16/06/2022 14:18

PMSL that AC took Peter's (not very funny) joke seriously.

JaneJeffer · 16/06/2022 14:22

What did he say? I am hiding from the painters who are painting the outside of the house!

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/06/2022 14:35

He said something about Kudla's coach- Linstedt, sitting him down and telling him to be calm. AC went off on a waffle about how this could help- and Peter had to stop and tell him he was trying to make a joke- because Linstedt is one of the least calm, quite fiery, Swedes there is Grin

AC likes Kudla because of his ranking? What?

Matteo having blister problems?

The ball girl holding the umbrella is so cute.

I missed the end of the Matteo match, I'm pleased he managed to turn it around- but he wasn't playing well to start with.

Ryan is off to a good start.

Raahh · 16/06/2022 16:58

Bagel for Ryan- Cerundolo doesn't seem to have turned up yet.

Raahh · 16/06/2022 17:29

Cerundolo decided to join in, in the second set.

JaneJeffer · 16/06/2022 18:40

Well done Ryan.

Didn't get to watch much today.

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/06/2022 18:54

Well done Ryan! I had to disappear when Cerundolo had a break in the 3rd set and it looked it would go his way.

Raahh · 16/06/2022 19:00

I saw that Ryan was also on the wild card list - he's an example of someone who deserves a chance, and will be penalised most by the lack of ranking points at Wimbledon. He's also got a WC for the doubles.

JaneJeffer · 16/06/2022 19:28

Andy Roddick saying Rafa could win Wimbledon Halo

JaneJeffer · 16/06/2022 19:31

John Inverdale is going to write down a story he wants to tell at change of ends! I have to go to Emmerdale but I'm dying to know what it is Grin

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/06/2022 19:38

I always knew I liked RoddickGrin (he really should have won Wimbledon in 2009).

I have been sidetracked with other things. I am not getting a lot of tennis watched today Grin

JaneJeffer · 16/06/2022 19:47

Yes he should have Sad

OP posts:
Raahh · 16/06/2022 20:35

The Roddick/Fed final was epic- but I really really wanted Roddick to win.
I've just never been a Fed Fan.

(Plus I was cross/sad that Rafa had lost at RG- and still annoyed at Roger for crying at AO when Rafa beat him, and basically making it all about him).
