I've got some brownie points with MIL for reminding her Queens is on. She was not happy with RG not being on ITV this year.

Fizzy it's Queen's -shoe horning talk of players who aren't playing (bonus if they are Brits) is what they do. And I think they are contractually obliged to mention Andy every day . It's not his fault , it's the media. But it gets on my nerves as much as them fawning over Djok.

Iirc, Casper lost to Tache Man at Wimbledon last year- in a 5 set first round match. Grass is not really his thing. He has joked earlier it was 'for golfers'

Yesterday, at one point, Peter Fleming seemed to have no clue who Cilic was, how many times he had played Queen's, or the fact he had won it- twice.

I think all the commentators are taking it in turns to be Andrew Castle.

I think Peter doesn't know where he is or care less a lot of the time

For anyone - like me - who can't bear the BBC commentators at Queen's, you can listen to Nick Lester & Tim Henman on Prime. They are so much better!

I don't mind these two @Hbh17 they have easy voices to listen to. Good to have the choice though.

I missed the end of the Ruud match, was at a school meeting. I'm not sure Casper was expecting too much this week really. A great result for Ryan - and will go someway to bumping up his ranking- from 180, to 150 something, so that's good.
