It was totally bonkers, but I liked it. The cast seemed genuinely nervous which added to the fun of it.

Stacey's 'sorry if my hair smells of onions' made me giggle.

Charlie Brooks must've been pissed off that Janine was locked in the beer cellar for this episode

Yes. I think that's what I read.

yes, it was "as live". They filmed it as a normal meet and greet engagement for Charles and Camilla with the actors all having to be in character and no script. They had no idea what they would be asked.

I think Karen was amazing this eve with Camilla at the tree

I loved it, cheesy as it was! Thought they both did really well. That's the most natural and least formal I've ever seen or heard Prince Charles.

And it was quite touching watching the cast 'acting' honoured and overwhelmed etc while also actually being those things in reality, very sweet.

I expected to find it cringe worthy but actually I really enjoyed it!

Charles was so lovely and natural and funny, as was Camilla.

it was filmed in March apparently,
but in one take, or at least, they had an hour to film it

Rabbits in headlights added to the realism I think. A lot of people meeting them in real life might get tongue-tied or not know what to say. I think they did it perfectly.

The bit with Karen and the tree brought a tear to my eye too. I thought suki might be there as there’s obviously something brewing with her ex husband being released from prison. She seems scared

Nancy seriously pissed me off tonight. She only sees her own pain, despite not being a child any more. If she could see things though her mum's eyes a bit more and listen to the full story.

Why didn't Linda just say straight away that Janine paid me to leave and I was going to string her along, or something like that?!?

The whole thing is ridiculous, non busy roads , cabbies starting up cars for them , Linda getting plastered with Annie in the car on just a tiny bottle of vodka or whatever it was. All within a few miles of Walford ! Where are all these empty roads ? Why didn't she tell Nancy straight away ? Janine sneaking off whilst mick was conveniently upstairs , nobody running the pub ( Shirley maybe , why wasn't she suspicious of her going off )
It was all just very silly and has more plot holes than a sieve !

I don't often criticize EE that much as it's only a soap, but come on writers , this was too much to swallow ! Lol
