I loved that. I will keep the recording on my planner to rewatch. DH never watches EE but actually watched this one although didn’t sit down (so annoying).

I quite enjoyed that and I’m not even British or a royalist!

I would have thought they would have everybody on screen today but there were quite a few characters missing. I wonder if the actors that weren’t there were pissed off.

Massive smile on my face throughout too. Loved the way Mick and Linda took charge! Stacey sounded like a true cockney all of a sudden. Also loved Karen's reaction. So real 😍

On a separate note, love how Chelsea dresses - such style. We hadn't seen her for a while! Surprised Suki was at the tree planting. Also, who was dressed as Amy Winehouse?

Love love loved Rocky's Union Jack suit. Whitney as Britney was fab. Jay looked great as David Bowie. And Honey was a brilliant looking Ginger Spice. Loved Kim as always. Who was Billy supposed to be?

I absolute loved it and yes it brought a tear to my eye, I didn’t find it “cringe” at all, Charles and Camilla looked like they were having a lot of fun and I found the bit when Camilla put the ribbon on the tree was so heartfelt and real, when Karen was saying it was for her daughter Chantelle I think Camilla had to stop herself saying I know I watched her on the telly!

In the programme afterwards they had a ‘behind the scenes’ section and Phil was in the line up to meet them despite being locked up in prison!

I thought it was utterly awful. So cringey, I was embarrassed for all of them- the cast and Charles and Camilla. I think it may have been the worst episode ever.

It cracked us up that the bloke who plays Jack spoke in his real voice instead of his 'Jack' voice! That's the second time he's messed up (can't remember properly but he fluffed his lines when they did that live episode that time)

They said in the "short behind the scenes" segment that it had been shot "as live" and Charles and Camilla were to,d to treat it as a normal walkabout engagement whilst the actors had to answer in character. They had no idea what they were going to be asked.

I guess it's not surprising there were slip ups 😂
