Taskmaster Series 13

Started last night - Ardal O’Hanlon, comedian Bridget Christie, Chris Ramsey, Judi Love and actress and podcaster Sophie Duker. And of these my favourite is Sophie, even though I had no idea who she was. Another laugh out loud show!

It's the little things, like Greg getting totally into whether it's the same person's head or foot coming out of the box, he was so serious about it. And then you have Ardal just throwing a bucket at Alex.

I love this show so much! I agree that it’s the commitment from most of the participants, plus the dynamic between Greg and Alex that makes it so funny. Also you can tell Greg and Alex really enjoy it.

Just watched this week’s episode. Ardal confusing himself in the shoe task 😂 I think they’re all great this season. To the pp who mentioned it, yes I watched Hebburn and really enjoyed it too.

I wish I could get hold of a copy of the new portrait of Greg in Mexican sugar skull makeup.

I think both Judi and Chris in the shoe task were utterly hilarious.

I do think the shoe task was one of my favourites. Although the best ever for me is always going to Mike Wozniak’s flight safety talk in German 😂😂😂

Also, every time Bridget Christie manages to genuinely annoy Alex is gold 😂

I'm really pleased at the variety of people on this series. Good to have a good range of ages and professional backgrounds, and THREE women.

Bridget Christie’s attempt to walk with the pedometer had me roaring. As did Greg’s impersonation of it Grin

The cement mixer sausage eating machine with Chris and Alex on last nights show was hilarious

My DD is watching the Bleeped version. This week we have just randomly shouted “NO WAY!” to each other 😁

last night had me in stitches again, especially the surprise at the speed of the sausages!

My favourite moment was Sally Phillips lobbing a jelly into a bin from a distance like it was no sweat!

I'm loving this series.
It's such a perfect blend of personalities-Ardal trying to sabotage the item task us brilliant. The way he murdered the mannequin in the cement mixer was prefect- he was laughing so hard it cracked me up.

Is it me or are Greg and Alex really enjoying it? I've never seen Alex laugh so much, he's normally so deadpan.

I'm also loving this series.

The personality mix is working really really well, I’d say. I’ve gone full circle with Judy - loved her at first, then she annoyed me a bit (the editing made it look like she was bored or disinterested), but back to loving her approach now.

Bridget seems just PERFECT Taskmaster fodder. I’m really enjoying the wild eyed engagement.

But it seems that Greg in particular has so much (understandable) adoration of Ardal - from his Dougal days, presumably - that it adds something more, a bit like the Frank Skinner vibe. Transcends TM, and I’m here for it.

Ardal straddling the mannequin was hilarious. As was the spinning sausages - particularly the slow motion shots.

I keep trying to persuade other people to watch. Tried to explain the concept to my parents but ended up saying just watch it and you'll see!

I cried laughing at Ardal and the mannequin and Chris and the sausages. So funny. Bridget and her total bafflement at the pedometer also had me creased.

This week was hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing after the sausage spinning then Bridget's walks. The final task guessing the name too. I noticed Alex laughed a lot too.

Greg seems to have forgotten he's meant to despise Alex.

I love this programme for introducing me to people I've never heard of, or making me see another side to those I have heard of.

Katherine Parkinson's bemused incompetence
Mike who the hell Wozniak - the funniest geography teacher ever
Rhod Gilbert - barely disguised psychopath

Having reflected I think the sausage spinning is up there with the blind fold mobility scooter driving as the funniest moments .

And Liza's cake.

Liza being ignored by her male team mates when she’d worked out what to do in a task and then just getting on and doing it while they continued to discuss between themselves oblivious is sort of my favourite moment but it’s also annoying because of course it’s symptomatic of a lot of male crap.

Loved this week’s episode. The contestants just seen to gel so very well.

I love how much Greg just loves Ardal.

I laughed so hard at Ardal and the mannequin, and barely recovered by the time those sausages started spinning- funniest thing I’ve seen in ages. Just so bonkers.

Sausage spinning was up there with Daisy May Cooper eating watermelon.
