Missed tonight's episode but think it's highly likely she has wangled some sort of extended contract since the 'race row'. The shit writing indicates she should have been long gone after the Hop disaster but there is obviously something going on behind the scenes.

Rhona and Cain were in a scene together at the hospital with Marlon you don’t often see them together in scenes ...I don’t get them as a real life couple though ...I could see Cain more with Moira

Rhona and Cain in real life are absolutely wonderful together. Jeff is so different from Cain it's insane. During lockdown when CBBC were doing home schooling programmes they did a programme all about gardening and growing fruit and veg. It was magic.

I remember them talking about their Emmerdale characters saying that they really like that they hardly have any scenes together.
