Do spouses not look at their spouses in Emmerdale? Or talk to them? Spend time with them? Or notice that they are acting really oddly?

Also, and I except this is a minor point - why oh why would Alicia be wearing her formal work jacket whilst eating dinner with her husband and friend in her own house. Take the damn thing off Alicia!

Yet another stupid storyline out of completely nowhere. I was hoping Dawn wasn't going to get sucked into her previous life with the junkie and her pimp.
Nice to see Mackenzie back again. I hope he and Matty give Suzy what she deserves and she never returns.

Agree that Liam must be a very dopey doctor if he can't see Leyla's ridiculous behaviour for what it is.

I'm worried that this story is a means of getting rid of both Mackenzie and Suzy so that nobody's favourite couple can be reunited. Hope not.

Dawn has lost the plot

Poor Dawn. But yes, she is definitely losing the plot a bit.

Yet another complete character change. Dawn was happily married with a good job after a very dubious past. This Beth is described as her best friend although she seemed to know very little about her. Sorry but Harriet was right to report her - if she hadn't both she and Dawn could have been in serious trouble.

Seeing how horrible Nicola is in Classic, I find it hard to have any sympathy for what she's going through after the attack.

Sorry but I'm finding it really hard to care about Clemmie. We didn't even know she existed a few days ago and now it's all we hear about.

Never felt much about Dawn still she was punching Meena on the bridge. Loved her then

agree who the feck is Clemmie. Surely Lucas and a stable life is the important thing for now.

Dawn needs to be careful as she's not demonstrating what a good and stable mother she is to Lucas with her visits to drug dens, snatching a child, fixating on said child and moving house... all while Lucas is on one of his many many sleepovers.

Not to mention she's a killer. But I totally forgive Dawn for killing Malone as he was a nasty piece of work and those scenes where he tried to force Dawn to overdose were quite harrowing.

This seems to be the go-to storyline at the moment as if they can't think of anything new. We've had Charles 'daughter pop up out of nowhere - still waiting to see if she'll become a permanent fixture. Meena and Mackenzie were the same - an improbably younger sibling who'd never been mentioned before.

If only they'd bring back some actors from Classic. At least they would have some connection to the village and I'm sure some of them could do with the work

I'd love Andy to come back. And Lachlan after he's done his time.
