I loved the line from Cain when he said "I'm glad she had you" to Moira. Shows that he has some feelings for Faith after all. I'd like to see an episode of just Cain and Faith, coming to terms with their past. I think it would be magical.

Didn't they do that once before with Faith and Cain? Went back to the house he grew up in and sorted stuff out. Might be remembering wrongly.

They did a flashback episode of when Cain was a teenager.

I've never been a fan of Marlon either but can appreciate that Mark is doing a good job of acting the part of a stroke patient. Previously I've thought he had been playing the part of a bumbling buffoon for the past 25 years. However I wasn't keen on the scenes last night.
I really can't stand Chas. She has been horrible to Liv and others in the past and now suddenly she's daughter of the year. She really doesn't have a redeeming feature about her.
As an aside, Cain is 10 times better looking now than the greasy oik he was portrayed as 20 years ago.

Re the Marlon and Rhona scenes last night, yes it was a bit cringe BUT I think it needed showing as real life stroke patients (particularly younger ones) must go through this very situation with their partners and it probably is one of the factors behind a lot of break ups because the issue of sex is not talked about. As Mark is doing such a fantastic job with the story, I'm presuming he/Emmerdale thoroughly researched the role and this is one of the issues that came up for stroke patients.

everyone has their own opinions @PrincessScarlett yes it will be issue no doubt ...I just found the scene off but that’s just my opinion. Likewise different people like different characters 😊

I need to rewatch that scene because the household was being noisy and I couldn't hear it properly. I did like the scene with Paddy about the ups and downs. It was well written.
