I don't think it was illegal to be a lesbian because the men who made the law didn't think it was possible () but it was illegal to be gay until 1967 in the UK.

Yes homosexuality was illegal but not being a lesbian. Such an odd line for Mary to say in such an important revelation and odd that Rhona didn't even question Mary saying it when she's an intelligent woman and very clued up on lesbians having Vanessa as her best friend and one time dabble into being lesbian herself.

Nicola is a fab actor. She was great with the whole Carl storyline a little while back.

Why can't something nice happen to her for a change? She got her arm fixed at last then Carl's biological mother tried to take him (with stupid abrupt ending) and now this!

Nobody else got much of a look in storywise over the last year or so due to somebody's domination. It must have left some of them pondering their future, if that's what was grabbing all the attention 🙄

I love Faith
