But I'm still hoping that we find out Princess was behind his disappearance. The episode with her mother pointed to a shady past.

I like nice Al- I much prefer it when they write him like this. He's a good friend to Val.

My son in law is about to leave the police service. I don't think watching this would make him change his mind.

I think Al was probably better suited to this than Gobby - who can be a bit of a drama llama. Though Rob would be useful.

That was a very thoughtful episode. Val is a good actor.

Yes, I used to work in retail management and we had several break ins during my time, the staff toilet was always (very messily) used. I had a very good and kind area manager who saw cleaning that up as his job when he came to assist in the aftermath.

Especially I hate how the writers deal with Al's character sometimes- because he is a genuine friend to people (I've always thought him and Jimmi were the best 'couple'
