They're like a dry almond or pistachio biscuit. Delicious

Pear looks very good. I'd choose that from a menu.

fourquenelles · 12/04/2022 20:23

One miserly drop of that sauce pah!

GrouchyKiwi · 12/04/2022 20:23

Ah, the biscuit thingies. I thought he said biscotti, which I thought was a weird choice.

TheDogsMother · 12/04/2022 20:24

Are those biscuits like a biscotti ?

Pebbledashery · 12/04/2022 20:24

Poor Oli got a kicking.

Piggywaspushed · 12/04/2022 20:25

A pear would not look like that if I put it in wine...

Blueberrycreampie · 12/04/2022 20:25

More cauliflower yawn!

Nooooo. Cauliflower is delicious, but nowhere near as delicious as meat. You can't fool anyone, Meg.

Pebbledashery · 12/04/2022 20:26

I'm sorry to say, I'm a former vegetarian... And there's nothing you can do to make a vegan dish look appetising

I love cantucci and I bought a big bag of them for the equivalent of about 2 quid when I went to Florence in the Before Times. Ate the bloody lot, DH didn’t get a look-in.

RomainingCalm · 12/04/2022 20:26

@TheDogsMother

Are those biscuits like a biscotti ?

From Google...

Oblong, dry, and nut-studded, cantucci are often called biscotti in the United States. While this isn't incorrect, "biscotti" is the generic term for all "twice-cooked" cookies in Italian. Cantucci, on the other hand, specifically originated in Prato, a small city in Toscana.

I didn't know that.

Hi Jamahl.

Isn't bizarre how cauli has become a substitute for meat and for carbs. Especially as cauli cheese is the best way to have it and rice or 'steak' are a mistake.
Pebbledashery · 12/04/2022 20:27

I'm an artist darling

Yessss, pour in all that wine. Cooking my style, Evy. Nice.

RomainingCalm · 12/04/2022 20:28

Cauliflower steak and rice are grim. Cauliflower cheese all the way!

Pebbledashery · 12/04/2022 20:28

Evy looks like she has a huge island in her kitchen.
