Thought it was good,'classy' drama.

Agree cod about the dog-as soon as we saw close up of dog tag you knew he was going to come to messy end.

And the sacking of Tom-guessed it was set-up.

Inrigued with Ted Danson's hair/toupee.

Yes she seemed more suited to graduate training scheme at Wal-Mart than high flying attorney.

Thought the hound was a bit Fatal Attraction - you'd think she'd have wanted to get away from animal slaughter, no?

Also thought that the opening scenes with the ringing bell and the close up on the elevator didn't "go" with the opening credits or the rest of the style really.

Am v intrigued for next week though- if Toupee Danson is meant to be a main character are they gonna drag out the one case?

ok have watched it now, fab, loved it, cod I'm sure you're not really that hard

We've got this in NZ at the moment, but further along in the series. Stick with it, it's really good. we've had about 15 episodes so far and there's lots of good plot twists. Glenn Close is fabulous!

Oh, and the owner of the doomed dog now has a new puppy that I'm very worried about.....
