I love it. GC is totally fab in it but I'm also fascinated by her wind-tunnel looks. I also just lurve the deep south lawyer and Ted Danson is great. It's casting heaven.

I like her because she has a big (relatively) bum and so that makes me admire the casting director even more for not insisting on someone underweight.

She's not that bad though - she's just outshone by the big guns.

Bits that I remember/make sense

Patti fires her, then reads the the file she has prepared and phones her, but she wont take call

Everyone finds out Gregory Molina is dead

Ted Danson's wife is divorcing, and Patti is bessy mates with the divorce attorney on the wife's side. She finds out about top secret divorce and uses it against Ted in deposition. He eventually loses it and marches out calling her a bitch. All captured on film.

Flash forward bit shows Tom going to Pattis apartment after lawyer bird told him that there was a murder there. It has all been cleaned up in an effort to cover up, but he finds blood on coral and realises that something has happened.

Patti fired her because she was taken off the case but went behind patti's back and talked to George More (sp?) in secret and documented some info from him.

I am loving this.

Was scary at beginning of this week's when David was dreaming about shagging Ellen and she turned itno Patti half way through!! ewww. Can never decide after each episode whether I hate Paddddi or Arthur Frobisher the most. Prob Patti. Julie Burchill once write that Glenn Close looks like a face someone has drawn on a basketball and left too near the fire.

I think the 'thing' that Ellen has found out about Patti will be something about Patti's mad son. It makes me wince everytime I see those statue of liberty bookends and imagining them being used as the murder weapon . They so spikey!!

I know, DP could hardly bear to look at that bit!

The twist has to be goooooood. I was wondering if Patti has some prior involvement with Ellen or if it is Ellen who has somehow been playing Patti all along.

Is it really the last one next week? Oh no....

Desperate to find out the twist. Ray really is an excellent character. How creepy was it when he was having his dreams as well and his teeth started bleeding and falling out?

Is it? I didn't realise that!

The characters are so well done - Patti and Frobisher are complex in a way that somehow makes them even more evil, Ray is so compelling, pathetic and yet sympathetic.

I love the way it's filmed too - they do some really surprising and clever things. It's class trash.
