Can someone please just tell me if Our House is worth watching

I'm fed up of investing hours in itv and bbc dramas only for them to turn into steaming turds by the last episode, with no resolution or stupid plot twists. I don't want to see spoilers so have avoided discussion threads.

So is it any good? Thanks in advance.

Examples of tv dramas I wished I hadn't started watching: The Missing; The Replacement; The Pact; The Bodyguard; The Syndicate. Just noticed they all start with 'The' so maybe this bodes well for Our House

@CosmopolitanPlease , it's an excellent book full of twists and turns but the main twist has been difficult to translate to TV. It's worth watching but don't over think the plot! The choice of actors is weak too.

No - not worth watching. I like Martin Compston which prompted me to watch it but the plot was unbelievable - so many things that just wouldn't happen. The book got good reviews - I am almost tempted to read it to see where they went wrong.

I thought it was better than some of the other dramas of late that I've wasted my time on.

It feels like it's one of those Netflix originals made for America. It's not believable, which I get is the point of drama, the story line is fine, but the way it's made, parts of the story just not being believable as that's not how it would happen in real life.

I've read the book and on episode two of the show. I think it's ok. Quite slow and the twists won't work as well, the whole set up is different. I also think the cast is way too young. Tuppence Middleton is only 35 and should be at least 45 for this role. Probably wouldn't carry on if I hadn't read the book.

No! Was dithering about whether to watch it, did so, and it was boring and unsatisfying.

I thought it was good. I haven't read the book though. I wanted it to end differently.

I'd say no purely because it has Martin Compton in it. Can't stand him.

Like someone said the main twist in the plot ( in the book) was revealed earlier on in the tv version as it was obviously a visual thing which did spoil it teally

Unfortunately the plot had a turn in that just couldn’t be ignored as too ludicrous . An actress appeared with a terrible whiny voice and played her part in a way that gave me a fit of giggles, but surely wasn’t meant to be humorous. We turned it off and did regret the wasted time.

The last episode was a steaming pile of poo. Total waste of time.

I've watched 2 of the 4 episodes and it's utter rubbish tbh but will continue as it's only another 2 parts. It's so bad you will hate yourself for watching it and wonder wtf you are doing!

I watched it 🙄🙄 you know when you get to the end of something and think, can't believe I watched all of that. I kept watching thinking it would get better. It didn't. It's so bad.

The twists are rubbish and you can spot them a mile off. The cast are awful, absolutely the wrong people for this. I can't even remember characters names it was that bad, the female who was doing the blackmail spoke dreadful, her acting was shite.

Don't waste your time on it.

Agree with all the the above . 4 hours of your life you won’t get back 😳 stupid plot but stuck with it . Wanky ending made it all pointless
