Can someone please just tell me if Our House is worth watching

I'm fed up of investing hours in itv and bbc dramas only for them to turn into steaming turds by the last episode, with no resolution or stupid plot twists. I don't want to see spoilers so have avoided discussion threads.

So is it any good? Thanks in advance.

Absoultley not. Gave up and looked for spoilers after episode one. It is the same with most ITV and 5 drama, just terrible and count on names so people tune in. Obviously some exceptions, Little Boy Blue for example which was outstanding.

Not read the book, but the trailer made the show look interesting, houses have been sold out from underneath people before, but the show is indeed a steaming turd, with a plot that CBeebies would deem too unrealistic. 4 hours I'll never get back. Run, OP!

It was a load of rubbish, the main characters was one dimensional and wooden!

I’m on episode one and can’t get over the fact she wore a gold skirt and vest to the park with her ex and two young sons.

I liked it. But ending was disappointing. Hope that isn't a spoiler. The main pair made a very unlikely couple.

I really enjoyed it.

Glad it's not just me who thought that! Dressed like she was off to a trendy wine bar. Skimpy top and no bra to play footy with the boys. Sure.

I didn't bother watching episode 2.

I echo pps - read the book. Some of the twists don't translate well to TV so the only way to get the benefit of them is to read the book first. I found the series interesting in a 'comparing it to the book' sort of way, but I didn't especially rate the production or casting.

No mention of a mortgage either. I kept wondering if they'd mention it.
