I’m becoming uncomfortable with how the writers have gone from portraying Kirk as a loveable dope to virtually mentally incapable. The horror on everyone’s faces when he’d dared to answer the phone was ridiculous. Also, what was the point of the bonus ‘plot’ anyway?

The storylines with Kelly and Toyah are being done so well, but it does feel a bit like someone has told the writing team ‘We need something a bit lighter to break it up’ and they don’t really know what that should be. What was the scene with Brian and Cathy buying wine at the bistro for? Just to remind us they’re alive? (And who buys wine to take out from a bar when there’s a Co-Op in spitting distance?)

Imran and Toyah have Alfie and Elsie to worry about, poor Kelly is forgotten indeed. Why was Sarah wearing a wedding guest outfit for an ordinary day?

Also, if Toyah is so very desperate for children, wouldn't she get back with Imran, who is named on the birth certificate, and try to get custody of Alfie? Apparently Imran really loves her.

Even tho Toyah’s been annoying recently, I did feel sorry for her when Elsie got taken off of her. She’s a victim in her own situation and on top of that she can’t even foster Elsie anymore. Then she hears Imran’s gone to visit his son. It all felt so cruel:(

I was desperate for children and couldn’t have them, but would’ve drawn the line at taking back someone who had cheated and lied in order to steal a neighbour’s baby!!🤣

Toyah is not the same as everyone else, she was involved in the complex baby thing pretending baby Suzy was hers. It was Baby Suzy, wasnt it?

Sam is really grating at the moment, all this bad sportsmanship behaviour of refusing to shake hands and storming off does not suit his character that was portrayed initially, he was portrayed as wiser and more grown up than his young years. Yes! I saw an article on Facebook that someone had shared earlier, about the girl who plays her. The headline implied her Mum was also a Corrie actress (she wasn't, it was clickbait ), and I clicked thinking it would be that she was the daughter of Ty's ex!
