Bring back Debs Brownlow - the show just isn’t the same without her…

Gary has spilled the beans...

eggandonion · 25/03/2022 20:59

Goodness, i wasn't expecting that.

Akire · 25/03/2022 20:59

Oh cracking episode!
I’m so glad they took on board comments about Craig and he gets to go back and get involved every case for next 30y on the street. Worried about the baby now it’s wanted that’s high alert for bad news.

Funny comments Tim and Sally too fair play.

ilovebrie8 · 25/03/2022 21:07

That was a turn up for the books! Gary off the hook ...

Sidisawetlettuce · 25/03/2022 21:10

I'm still trying to erase the memory of Steve asking Tim if he was allowed 'self intimacy' 🤮

Omg!!!! On the edge of my seat Shock
Akire · 25/03/2022 22:34

So Laura must actually be ill rather than going down next 20y! I’m very much shocked!

Beth is going be soooo annoying as grandma we never hear the end of it.

OnTheBoardwalk · 25/03/2022 22:41

Just watching now. Did Maria really sleep in those 2 sets of hoop earrings. Only asking cos I might have had a drink last night and slept in my studs and regretted it this morning

Sorry not related to the plot whatsoever 😄

Clawdy · 25/03/2022 22:41

Yes, Sally's face looked odd, something was wrong.

PrincessScarlett · 25/03/2022 22:51

Re Sally's face, I wondered whether it was bruising from Dancing on Ice as presume that her being at her sister's until tonight was to cover her while she was off skating 🤷🏻‍♀️ and the camera angle on her face was odd.

WomanStanleyWoman · 25/03/2022 23:05

Ooh, what a juicy ending! Genuinely looking forward to Monday’s episode now!

I’ve just binged tonight’s and Wednesday’s episode - when Maria asked ‘Why do people think I’m thick?’ I said out loud ‘Experience’ just as Kirk said the exact same thing! Grin

I didn’t notice much about Sally's face tonight before the comments but I did really notice it on the first couple of episodes of DOI

Sally really doesn’t need to do anything to her face

Deadringer · 25/03/2022 23:31

Laura confessing is just stupid. Once the body turned up they would have proof that Rick was dead so Kelly would inherit, no need for anyone to confess, much better to see what evidence turned up with the body.

I was thinking the same, just let them find the body, I wouldn't imagine he was short of enemies.
Fiddlersgreen · 25/03/2022 23:41

Gary was already the suspect though.
This way she can tell them exactly where the body is etc and no reason to suspect anyone else anymore

Deadringer · 25/03/2022 23:54

Unless Gary dropped his driving license into the grave i don't see how they could pin it on him though. Even if super sleuth Craigy is on the case.

PinkDaydreams · 26/03/2022 07:15

I missed last night's, what happened with Laura and Gary? And Faye is pregnant I presume?

StEval · 26/03/2022 07:25

@PinkDaydreams

Gary told Laura he killed Rick, he thought it was about to come out as Ricks body would be found because of the building work at the new football ground.

He then went and told Maria and told Kelly he needed to speak to her at home.
As they walked home the rozzers had Laura in hand cuffs and she had confessed.
This is off the back of her overhearing Kelly say she was so happy/ stable living with Gary/ Maria.
She did it for Kelly.
Really good episode although Craig is not leaving the Police , so PC Plod is back in business and Faye is pregnant.

PinkDaydreams · 26/03/2022 07:29

Thank you!!

Surely the police will have to have evidence that Laura killed him though?

Oh no, back to Craigy policing every single crime 🤦🏻‍♀️

BigHairyCoconut · 26/03/2022 10:37

I know Laura has confessed to the murder so that Kelly has a chance of a happy life but surely thinking that your mom killed your dad would majorly scar you for life? Confused

WomanStanleyWoman · 26/03/2022 11:26

Yeah, she really didn’t think that part through Grin

WomanStanleyWoman · 26/03/2022 11:27

Also, won’t the police (and Kelly) ask Laura why, if she’d killed Rick and had been covering it up for years, she hired a private detective to find him?

woodhill · 26/03/2022 12:01

You would think Faye would have been more clued up about not getting pregnant

Where is Tyrone, he never seems to exist in the flat with them

PrincessScarlett · 26/03/2022 12:40

I can't believe all 4 of them live in that tiny flat. No wonder they are all so miserable living on top of each other like that.

WomanStanleyWoman · 26/03/2022 12:47

Yet in the classic episodes on ITV3, Geena and Bobbi are sharing it and Audrey warned them it might be too small for two!
