When Adam was pretending to be interested in Laura to get to the bottom of the Rick mystery, I thought she looked too old for him and the Adam actor is 36.

I reckon this was a typo in an article somewhere and it’s ‘stuck’ in subsequent articles. I found her CV on Spotlight and, while it doesn’t confirm her age, it lists her ‘playing age’ as 35 - 45:

Does anyone remember the actress Jeannie Drynan from Muriel’s Wedding (she plays Muriel’s mom)? According to every online source you can find, she was born in 1961, which would have made her only 34 when she played the part (and only 17 when she played a qualified lawyer in Prisoner Cell Block H!) I’m convinced someone at some point hit the wrong key and her year of birth is actually 1951, but the same incorrect Google result has been used as a source over and over!

@babywalker56, we have no access to itv hub, bbc iplayer and we can't have britbox. (Unless we do some dodgyy system and pretend to be in the UK).
We can watch uk live tv via a satellite, but only record what we are watching, unless we spend a lot on Sky. Mostly it doesn't matter as I catch up here if I miss an episode. But missing a good episode is devastating its such a seldom occurrence

Yes its like olden days. Its quite relaxing in some ways.

On holiday abroad I tried getting the iPlayer up but it wouldn't let me play any shows because I wasn't in the UK. I didn't realise it wouldn't work

Id pay a subscription for iplayer, itv hub and britbox if that was an option. We can access the channel 4 thing.

Can you access itv2? They often show the whole week’s Coronation st episodes on Saturday mornings.

@eggandonion you can view Britbox through Amazon Prime although I don’t know if it is the case abroad.

I thought Lydia’s son was going to be Adam’s, and when she talked of getting pregnant this week I thought that was going to be the reveal. Obviously wrong! Not sure how old her son is so can’t work out whether dates would be right.

Was her son called Harry as well? Whatever he’s called I hope he’s having fun playing in the cupboard with the quads.

Oh and as for Laura….so she’s only 10 years older than the daughter of the character she’s playing? I’ve just had my cataracts done, you can’t fool me!

If the Laura actress is 29 she's a perfect advert for why not to get botox/fillers. She looks like she's mid 40s but has work done to look younger.
