Matching pyjamas are ‘a thing’ now, but for how long , although she could diversify.

I didn't know they were a thing. Why would you want your pyjamas to match those of your DP, DC and Ddog? I want my nightwear to be comfortable first and foremost, and secondarily to look nice on me.

Notdoingthis · 17/03/2022 22:19

Steph's hair!

Notdoingthis · 17/03/2022 22:19

Sorry, not mocking her appearance, just the things she has attached to her head.

MinglingFlamingo · 17/03/2022 22:19

@Notdoingthis

Steph's hair!
Just been saying the same! Her extensions are awful! You can see the joins and it's really thin at the back. Needs a good brush
DrSbaitso · 17/03/2022 22:20

Whoa, hell-lo Steph!

Poshjock · 17/03/2022 22:20

Didn't someone get fired at the final stages before because it came to light that he did not own his business and Suralan was very critical about him trying to offer his business when it wasn't his to do that with. Who was that?

the80sweregreat · 17/03/2022 22:20

I've never worn matching anything with anyone !
I think it is naff.

It's a thing at Christmas for some families and with perfect Instagram families
bonfireheart · 17/03/2022 22:22

Match Match is naff but its the Instagram way.

DrSbaitso · 17/03/2022 22:22

I can see a lot of people liking the idea of matching pyjamas for the family, including the dog. It's not to everyone's taste but it's a bit kitsch and cutesy and some people like that. Especially for photos.

Im2022 · 17/03/2022 22:26

Matching pyjamas pfft.

Dessert parlour pfft..they’re popping up everywhere. She’s needs a USP, because every dessert parlour is the same at the moment. And that pancake mountain she made looked really heavy and unappetising. And she used fake whippy cream at the top…really not very elegant.

But I think Harpreet will win, because he already invested in the sweets business, the cake baking woman and the bakery last time. So, she’ll get loads of mentoring from them. Her poor sister though.

Lottapianos · 17/03/2022 22:27

Alan Sugar's jokes are physically painful at this point

Karen's veneers are insane

Britney has the exact same looks and body language as Caitlin Moran. Less gurning though mind you

The skin tight dresses, the wiggy hair, the lashes, THE SHOES. I really feel for them all. Ouch

DrSbaitso · 17/03/2022 22:28

Her sister really isn't an issue; whatever they're doing works. They're just bringing that up because they need a problem with every candidate.

Maireas · 17/03/2022 22:28

I looked online, those matching jammies are quite pricey. I suppose they're very insta friendly.

LosingTheWill2022 · 17/03/2022 22:30

Scraping the barrel!
All 4 business plans were shite.
How in God's name did Brittany get to the final with that pathetic plan and hideous product?
Harpreet's business is the most straightforward but not in the least bit innovative. I loved how ready she was to sell her sister down the river Hmm
And as for "family" pajamas?? Just ridiculous. There might just be a market at Christmas but beyond that??

DesertStorms · 17/03/2022 22:30

A bunch of 14 year olds would do better than this shower. They’re an embarrassment.

DrSbaitso · 17/03/2022 22:31

If people like the pyjamas, they might buy them even if they don't get a set for everyone in the family.

bonfireheart · 17/03/2022 22:32

The matchy pyjamas:

  • they're never gonna make lots of money
  • if they make lots of money then other high Street shops will just do their own version

Yes, do awful and the others laugh so enthusiastically at them. I can't believe none of them roll their eyes or groan at them. They are definitely worth a few of Karrens "bad smell" faces!!

Took the words out of my mouth. I wish the BBC would get rid of him. The show’s well overdue a refresh. Replace Lord Sugar and self satisfied Karen and put together a new, sensible suite of tasks.

The product development ones are particularly annoying - how can you develop branding for something that doesn’t exist? And what’s the point of market research when you’ve finalised the product? I wish I didn’t find it so compulsive.

Im2022 · 17/03/2022 22:50

I’ve just looked at the everyday pyjama website. Are women supposed to sleep in wedgie inducing hot pants now? No options for full leg and full sleeve pyjamas for women. £39 for a T-shirt and shorts. No thanks Kath.

LaMarschallin · 17/03/2022 22:52

thepastisanothercountry

I bet Harpreet's sister had a lovely time while she was doing The Apprentice... the joy of going to work and not having someone yell "Pancakes... give me pancakes... just make pancakes... quickly put them on the plate, get the cream on , make pancakes" must be phenomenal

Smile
Greyskiesaregonnaclearup · 17/03/2022 22:54

I do know several very wealthy families who do the whole 'matching pjs' thing and not just at Christmas. They would be the target market for this, not me and mine (I sleep naked so...)

I also know plenty of mums who deliberately buy only second hand designer clothes for their kids, Ebay does not cater to them. I think this idea had legs.

Drywhitefruitycidergin · 17/03/2022 22:56

I think the right 2 went through but it's all a bit young enterprise.
I think Harpreet will win, much easier to upscale an existing profitable business & I'm sure the market isn't saturated yet all over the country. I also think a small savoury range for groups of friends where 1 isn't a fan is a good diversification.
Dragon's Den would hate Kathryn's pyjamas especially because the existing Christmas pyjama business is a separate company as well as the lack of sustainability. Also who wants to match with their dog ffs or their kids all year round.
When's the final. Sunday?

hockeygrass · 17/03/2022 23:02

@Greyskiesaregonnaclearup , I also think Stephanie's business has potential, there is a website based in Kent called thechildrensaloon.com, it's turnover is massive and 80% of its sales are overseas, I suspect Stephanie is familiar with how big the designer market is.
