Guess what I just read!

From the 7th of March, Doctors will be repeated every day at 7pm on BBC 2- so kind of prime time .

So that's fun .

(Not sure if it's permanent or just an experiment).

Still only Monday to Thursday, but can't have everything.

With Princess at the Mill will Zara try to move Emma to SV? Under Al.....

I've just read that Lynda Baron has died- obviously famous for 'Open All Hours' and 'Come Outside'- but also Rob's Auntie Ag, in Doctors.

I loved Come Outside, when my older 2 were little (the youngest doesn't remember it, so they must have decided to stop repeating it by then). The ugly brown teapot episode, and one about sewage were my favourites.

Lynda Baron was fab in Come Outside. When I taught Y1, the children loved the episodes especially the toothpaste one!
I also loved her as Carmel in one episode of dinnerladies.
I lost the thread of today's episode completely.

Carmel? Was she the one who was from Urmston and knew two ways of getting there?

No. Carmel was the daytime TV host who interviewed Petula when Clint's mum chained herself to the railings.

Was come outside the one where she flew a spotted aeroplane to placs.. including the sewage treatment plant? That was my favourite, too

Mind you, she wouldn't be able to afford the fuel these days.

I agree the Zara/Emma feud is going on too long.

Rosie is starting to be more whingy and irritating than funny.

There's nothing wrong with this woman- she's just nosey, and wants to know where Dr Ashdown is.

Sid would have been even worse at Sutton Vale than Al. He's always moaning, and never seems confident at all.

I don't think I can cope with Rosie long term. All this wailing is getting on my nerves.

At least Al isn't wearing the red shoes- nosey patient would have had a fit over those.

Al has already seen more patients (2) at SV than anyone at the MIll has seen for ages .

Asif didn't look like he felt an '8'- if 10 is good- he looked really unhappy.

That was the worst faint I've ever seen on tv!!

Is it keyboard week? Yesterday's had a lengthy piano bit.

Al has never had so much praise - usually people are complaining about him!

It's only the first day, Al- plenty of time for it all to go wrong.

I'm starting to feel a bit sorry for Zara, she is at least trying. And Emma is cutting her nose off- she is obviously very lonely.
