Season (series) four dropped on Prime last night and I watched the first episode. It was fab. Did anyone else see it?

We only got two episodes in the US as well. I think they'll be dropping weekly from now on.

I'm A New Yorker so I love seeing the city circa 1960.

Ooh yay I can't wait! It's a little bit too Gilmore girls choreographed quirkiness for me sometimes but it's brilliant. Can't wait to see how she recovers from the shy Baldwin disaster

I've watched them both and everything I thought I'd forgotten about last season just dropped back into place. I think there were enough hints and reminders to jog my memory.

It's wonderful.

The clothes are blinking amazing and she has such a lovely figure that era really suits her.

She was due to go on tour with shy Baldwin but she did a set where she outed him to his hometown by mistake and was kicked off. Susie lost her money gambling and she bought her apartment but now has no money and no collateral.

Yes I watched it, absolutely love it! I was so excited last week when dh messaged me at work to say the new series was starting. We have decided to watch an episode every weekend so we have it to look forward to each week.
Agree the clothes and other details are amazing. Even the row of parked cars was perfect for the era! All the characters are excellent, especially her parents and in-laws.

I was so happy - I googled on Thursday to find out when the series was out as I knew they'd filmed it and discovered it started the very next day.

They've already announced season 5 will be the last.

I'm really enjoying it being back. Frustrated by the drip of episodes though.

A series was always 1 episode per week before the ability to binge watch.

Streaming services release really popular programs like this one weekly instead of a whole season at once because it reduces "churn". If you have the urge to cancel, you might wait and then forget about it.

I've caught up with both available episodes. It carries on so brilliantly from seasons 1-3 but, and this really jars, the child playing Ethan Hmm He's supposed to be 5 (birthday joke aside) but looks 8!

The problem with Ethan might be due to the delay to this season because of Covid. IMDB lists them (they're twins, not non binary!) as 5 but this might be out of date - I don't know how the age is automatic.
