Oh my goodness, I know this Marlon story is utterly depressing and heartbreaking BUT it is a million times better than the Meena shit show we've endured both in terms of writing and acting.

Great to see the regulars being allowed starring roles for a change instead of it being the Meena shitshow.

I agree. It's a tough storyline but so glad Marlon's got a decent story to do.
He's pretty much been doing the same as he is on classic episodes from 20 years ago.
This week has been better than it has been for ages.

I like how the story is affecting other people as well as the family. It feels more like a community this week.

It's so dark in the Woolie and the Mill I didn't even notice the electricity had gone off in the Hop or Hide or whatever it's called Matty Mate needs to learn about fuse boards.

@ilovebrie8 that's what I like though, consistent characters, not people chopping and changing to suit a certain storyline. It's the long term characters who make a soap watchable for me.
