Can't help thinking there's got to be some dramatic denouement. Last minute evidence found by Jake perhaps. Or the smitten prison officer turns out to be be an undercover something or other and gives evidence against her. Or a train derails and crashes into the court room [cars, buses, planes, helicopters all been done].

C'mon, it's Emmerdale.

Maybe she'll get into one of her rages and kill Britain's Thickest Prison Officer 2022.
