I’ve said it before but I’m so sick of this meena story . Why do they insist on dragging it on please can it end and concentrate on other story lines. Charity and Chas are good characters that make me want to watch but the whole Meena / Manpreet/Charles murder silly plot line makes me not want to watch .

Sadly I can see the Meena story dragging on till the anniversary celebrations as the viewers obviously want to see more of her 🤣.
Now we have yet another obnoxious woman talking to her daughter like she's useless and said daughter standing there putting up with it.

No, I'm glad they kept the Meena story going despite the fact she's a lousy actress.

It would have been too easy, too pat to just kill her off or get found guilty off screen. Mind, the way she keeps clutching her side I foresee a dramatic collapse in the dock at the crucial moment. :rolleyes:

Yes, Blanche. Stephanie Beecham was Rose. I saw a picture of SB yesterday at Joan Collins' anniversary party. She's holding back the years! I rewatched the first series when they showed it a few years ago during a hot summer and it was perfect viewing for the weather because I could relate to them being all sweaty I lost the second series when we had to change Sky box. Such a great cast.

Why was Vinny not even a bit miffed that Mandy had opened a letter addressed to him? A decent mother who loves her adult son as much as Mandy claims to would not trample all over his privacy and boundaries.

Years ago I used to think Chas seemed strong and kind. She is just petty and vindictive now. This daft feud with Charity is just boring.

Over on The Archers thread it is believed that mentioning certain characters can summon them back. Maybe if we don't mention a certain character she will just disappear?
