I am really loving Kenton at the moment. He's digging deep, isn't he? But his sisters ... what a pair of vile harpies they are.

Oh my GOD, Elizabeth makes me want to punch the radio. "Poor me, poor me" - poor YOU?! What about Cathy, you gossiping bitch!

Ooh so do I! Elizabeth is so spoilt. Petulent.

It's been a slow burn for me with her. I didn't used to mind her toooo much. But lately she's overtaken Elizabeth. And when her and Caroline get together...dear lord. What a righteous pair they are.

Kenton is just awesome at the moment. I've only recently got into the archers, but isn't his character supposed to be a bit of a flake? Certainly has been anything but since I've been listening. He's a complete star.

Oh and I'll be really pissed off if they take the obvious route of making the only overtly atheist character (Shula's father-in-law) suddenly convert. Love him - he's really funny.

There's no way that Jim will suddenly see the (entire delusory) light. He is a dyed-in-the-wool rationalist. But what about Debbie and Marshall? Apparently he's only 33 - she must be at least 40, no?

I actually feel a bit sorry for Elizabeth - not sure what Kenton expected her to do. She was being interviewed by the police - what was she supposed to say? "Oh yes, Cathy and Taylor had absolutely nothing to do with each other?"

Oh but Shula is SOOOOO awful!

But now she seems more concerned that Cathy is avoiding her and work - er hello, which one of you was raped and now has to face the courts? She needs to be less self-centred.

What is the back story with Debbie - I feel like I'm missing something with that plotline. Can't stand the character because everything she says is delivered so deadpan... does she actually have emotions?!

But as Kenton pointed out, Nigel hasn't been called as a witness for the defence.

Lizzie definitely went too far in that police interview and apparently didn't see where she was being led; Nigel did but couldn't stop her.

Debbie is 37 apparently (was her birthday on C Eve)

She has always been quite deadpan but is more so around Brian since his peccadillo emerged.

It's the way Elizabeth gossips in that confidential tone and is so right about eveything that I find annoying..

The business about Cathy being in the family photo was toe curling. The way Shula and Elizabeth - ever so nicely - elbowed her out.

Yes, I thought the family photo thing was shocking - especially as I thought that the parents wouldn't have minded either way. Am glad Kenton is not letting them get away with it.

And Elizabeth was COMPLETELY out of order telling Shula about Cathy. She only did it to garner sympathy, it was not her right to tell her.

I loved "But Cathy's family Kenton" "Oh she is NOW, is she?! She wasn't for your precious photo!"

actually I';m on Elizabeth's side here - can't bear Shula,Kenton,Cathy,Daniel - any children in the Archers in fact and bloody Ruth. Mr Woolley is my favourite

shula is very very annoying (the new peggy) -elizabeth has always been punchable. Kenton has also not escaped the archer irritating gene - sticking up for cathy doesn't erase years of flakery (the "hilarious" mix up over sizing of the anniversary photo anyone?). So really its only Jim that is offering any light relief in the story line at the moment. That and fact Matt is clearly going to play away soon..
