anyone watch holby city?

i love holby city but i missed a few episodes a few weeks ago. just managing to catch up now but i dont know why diane doesnt have her sisters baby anymore (named jack i think). can anyone fill me in please?

There is no shame in being a Holby fan Bubu! My tuesday night stops when Holby is on - i could probably remember every story line on it ever - how sad is that! Never did like Casualty though!

I watch it and casualty. Though I'm finding they're both getting a bit predictably depressing. The moment someone 'finds love' their partner gets fatally ill or dies. I thought the story of Carlos leaving Tricia after her breast op. this week was horrible. And really weird seeing as he'd been so supportive. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of message it might give out to people about to undergo that kind of surgery.

i thought that too about carlos. hate casualty cos its so bad at portraying nurses. holby is far more accurate. i think casualty is getting more and more like a bad australian soap. stopped watching ages ago

I think the Green Wing is hilarious!! Don't like Casualty though, love Holby City 'cos it's got maternity ward and there is always someone having a baby and it makes me cry - not tonight though!! Horrible, though I did cry..

I didn't like No Angels or Green Wing. I liked that one called 'A&E' that was on for a while and I love ER.

i always watch holby but agree casualty is worse than awful. watched it when there was a helicopter crash on someone's wedding day and it was hilarious!

was wondering what result would be if you did a death count in holby and compared it to a real hospital of similar size and location?

it's a bit scary that they have a death in maternity ward nearly every week. i know these terrible things happen but it's not really the programme to watch if you're pg, i'd have thought!

Oh I love ER as well. Yes, Holby is normally on on a Wednesday up here I think, DP normally tells me when it's on - I can't keep a track of the days of the week - head in the clouds or somewhere.....

Oh no! I missed this weeks Holby - why did Carlos leave Tricia? Because of her cancer op?? (He reminds me of Prince for some reason!) Think I need to get a life too

god yes, sooo like prince!
he told tricia before her op that he's watched his little sister die of aids back in the usa. after the op and they knew her cancer was more widespread i spose he just got cold feet and bailed out so he wouldn't have to go through it again.

I love Casualty and Holby. I don't think I have missed any Holby since it started. Get someone to tape it for me if I am away. How sad is that.

Carlos can come and do my surgery anytime.

I have been a fan of Casualty since it was first aired all those moons ago and Holby is great as well. I am really getting into Bodies too, now if you think Casualty and Holby are depressing, you've not seen anything until you see Bodies

I wish they had stayed together and caused Rick no end of grief (as he has done them). Did you know Verona Joseph is in her 30's and has a child whos atleast 10, I think she looks far too young!

bit of a holby / star wars link (sad i know). Guy who plays Rik Griffin is in the first "new" star wars film. and remember , oh whatsisname, little scots cardio-thorasic consultant? he was in one of the old ones. (forced to watch the films with DH)

well, WCL, i'm just weeks away from my 30th b-day i'm feeling a little sick now. no way i look anywhere near as good as that (even more depressed bout being 30 now )
