i love holby city but i missed a few episodes a few weeks ago. just managing to catch up now but i dont know why diane doesnt have her sisters baby anymore (named jack i think). can anyone fill me in please?

yeah she had an asthmatic-type reaction to the anaesthetic and needed intensive care which the private hospital did not. she was unconscious when they brought her in so carlos told chrissy and he figured she'd find out evetually with her being at holby.
oo yes, my fave surgeon was alex. people say that dh looks like him (and dh wears scrubs at work too - easy tiger!!!)

aw shucks thanks. don't tell him though - got to keep him on his toes... not sure if he does look much like alex. but i get crushes on the same kind of blokes, e,g, alex, aiden from sitc, and my friends always say it's cos dh has the look of them.

anyway back to holby - i quite liked the childrens ward but not that spiky nurse who accused liam of raping her, nor liam for that matter. but liked the consultant with the red hair who was married to that b*stard who shagged chrissy. what ever happened to her?

The Dr with the red hair, didn't it turn out she was pregnant and she had the baby even though DH had affair and she left to raise her baby. I think the childrens ward was phased out in favour of gynae/obs.

The dh who had the affair with Chrissie was just VILE. She'd never have fancied him in a million years!!

I saw that programme where they searched for the two new actresses to play Donna and Micky and Donna is from this area or lived here for a while but that is not her real accent - she put it on and they liked it. Sounds false to me - what do you think WCL?? I live in Knowle btw!

I reckon its a caricature (sp?) West Country accent, a bit like Abs' on Casualty and, if any of you saw Doc Martin, like that West Country accent - rubbish!
