It was Edge of Midnight.

Dd said that Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child was in the American version of Masked Singer a couple of years ago.

Rockhopper - Gabriella Cilmi??

I’ve guessed Rockhopper could be Beverly Knight and Panda could be Kate Nash. I thought Traffic Cone was Rufus Hound .. but im not so sure now

Thought Rockhopper was Alesha Dixon but dd tells me it’s Michelle Williams.
She said that says the song Higher Love sung on a previous episode refers to Michelle Williams’ Christian background. Apparently she is a Gospel singer

Who the hell voted for Donuts??

Since the show doesn't take voting money from the viewers, I imagine they can make it as fake/scripted as they like, so who knows if the audience really vote and if their vote is really reflected in the 'result'.

I've been wondering this, too. I actually wondered if Gloria Hunniford only agreed to do a short stint because she looked, well, old she looked unsteady on her feet walking on to the stage and she didn't move at all while performing but she had a great voice, which made me think she asked to be eliminated quickly.

It has happened on the US version - Mickey Rourke did one week and (in a wildly scripted move) unmasked himself before the judges could guess who he was. He wanted to appear on the show but not be tied to it.

Who said before that the audience aren't there for the singer reveals? Audience all there for that one anyway so ruins that theory.

Anyway, my mind is a bit mashed now - not convinced Cone is Aled Jones now as it didn't really sound like him and the clues were definitely not leading in that direction.

Am now sure that Rockhopper is Michelle Williams 100%, Doughnut is Michael Owen 100% and Robobunny is Mark Westlife 100% then thinking Charlotte Church for Mushroom. Not got a clue for Firework.

This might sound weird but could traffic cone be Matt Lucas? There have been loads of clues about comedy, he has done voice acting work for cartoons and he can sing. One of the clues tonight was ‘life is sweet’ and he presents Bake Off.

A stupid (therefore quite probable going by this show) interpretation of Firework's Albert Square link - it just points to the one of the big 3 soaps that Hayley Tamaddon has NOT been in. That and the song clue of Kids might be because her Emmerdale character was Delilah Dingle and there are lots of Dingle offspring.

If it is all scripted, and I think it probably is, then they are keeping Donut in for longer because he is someone very welll known like Michael Owens.

Think you're on to something there. 10 yr old DD said it had to be a reference to a chef or more likely a presenter of Bake off

I am sure Panda is Natalie Imbruglia - one of the patches on her scout uniform was a hammer...she played a builder in Neighbours and wasn't her characters surname Carpenter (too lazy to google). Plus it sounded exacrly like her

Just caught up. Tom Chaplin has a great voice. Rita didn't have a Scooby who he was when he was unmasked. The only one I'm not sure if now is Firework.

I still think Mushroom is Amanda Holden. She's been a vegetarian since her early teens, her character in The Grimleys was a teacher, she was in Wild at Heart.
