I hate that too. It seems so unnatural for someone her age! We are roughly same age, I don't think anyone would use a pet name like that that I know.

I'm watching yesterday's episodes as part of the Omnibus - what time zone/year are they in as Sarah & Lydia (and later Sarah & Adam) were talking about Valentine's Day being 'tomorrow' when it was obviously not Sunday? Also, when you've had to change the locks due to a stalker, would you leave the keys lying around the office?
Yes, I was also confused about this. I initially thought that maybe the episode was originally due to air on Sunday instead for some reason, but then like you said it was a work day Confused

I have also been irritated by Sarah and the darling thing to both Adam and Harry (on the rare occasions he appears!)

How can Lydia's son be Adam's? Adam must be about 35 so if he got her up the duff at Uni he'd have been 18/19/20 which would make Lydia's son a teenager surely. When I saw him briefly he looked Primary school age Confused

He’s same age Harry so 5/6? As poster said above we think she had abortion with Adam then later had a baby but never forgave him. Or he just broke her heart but 18y is a very long time hold a grudge.

The darling thing makes me feel sick. She’s been calling Harry “ah alright darling Mummy will do in now” for ages now it’s “Oh YES my darling” as she runs off to bed with him Envy give your husband a new pet name pleaseeeeee.
It's so annoying😂😂 every other line is 'my darling' 'my darling' like why are you being so annoying

The Lydia line is so dumb imo. I think they wanted to introduce something new to spice things up but it's just unprovoked (or so it seems)

I keep wondering why a newly converted, warehouse style apartment would have a very unfashionable flowery fireplace in it. There are windows above it and a fake log burner in front of it, it's all wrong.

I've just realised that I find the decorating and furnishings in Corrie more interesting than the storylines much of the time.

I think Sarah and Adam come across as having absolutely no chemistry, particularly when flirting about going to bed! They don’t work as a couple for me.

Corrie is suddenly getting their money’s worth from the new set for their flat! How come that flat looks a million times bigger than any other flat in that block? And why aren’t there any lights!! I

Yes, when she followed him into the bedroom before Lydia came back it was like they were going off to the shops!

The movie night scene was the best thing in ages! Tim and Steve all tearful, Sally coming in and realising her plan had misfired.....brilliant!

They did that with Halloween too - had the weird Halloween warehouse sinkhole set up at the start of October!

Adam is busy on Valentines day with evening meal at restaurant and Sarah is going over night on Monday for more drama with stalker. So all this lunch for Valentine’s Day on Friday and lovely Duffy was Friday. Though how much can one couple celebrate?!

I can’t see them doing that so soon after Nick discovering a secret son - especially when they’re part of the same extended family.

I’m sticking with the abortion theory. Remember Sarah and Adam were trying for a baby when they met Lydia - the combination of Adam not remembering her and trying for a baby with someone else when he’d pushed her to get rid of theirs could have pushed her over the edge. Maybe she’s convinced herself Adam is her son’s father.

Lydia was a PA to one of the suppliers. She got rolling drunk and was rude to the boss, so got sacked, whereupon Sarah immediately said 'come and work with me, I need a PA'. Or something like that.

Yes... I thought Jenny's daughter (forgotten her name) said Max was fuck. Grin

I think Max has spiked Daniel's drink and Amy picked up us glass and drained it before she left the school disco. Daniel out his glass right next to hers. Whatever is in the drink is what Max got through the post. That's my theory
