It’s such a silly tale, the storylines are stale, ‘It’s gone to pot!’, we wail; we’ll try to give it up - but fail.

Oh dear God, its painful to watch. The police turning up at the hospital for an alfresco wee on NYE Grin
I reckon the writers have got bets on about how stupid they can make the story lines

Akire · 24/01/2022 21:00

If it was incident behaviour why was publishing said pic on paper front page not incident Grin

SniffMyFeet · 24/01/2022 21:13

They probably blurred it out @Akire, I mean who wants to see Sally's front bottom when they're tucking into their cornflakes Grin

lollipoprainbow · 24/01/2022 21:14

Strange ending Tim peeing into a bottle !

Housewife2010 · 24/01/2022 21:15

I think Tim and Sally are such a lovely couple. They've got great chemistry and their final scene was great.

woodhill · 24/01/2022 21:33

Do things go in a local newspaper the same day?

excelledyourself · 24/01/2022 21:43

Me too. Probably my favourite Corrie couple.

I wish the writers would just leave them be.

Housewife2010 · 24/01/2022 21:47

Daisy really shot herself in the foot defending Daniel to Lydia.

OnTheBoardwalk · 24/01/2022 21:57

I’m getting close to ending with all soaps at the moment

New Years wee making the papers. I’m done now with Corrie

I think the story in the paper came first - Faye said ‘People have been demanding the police get involved’.

I get why a local paper might be interested when it’s a council candidate and ex-mayor, but I can’t imagine the police bothering to investigate when the only evidence is a picture of a woman squatting. She could easily have been picking up a dropped set of keys or tying a shoelace.

Do we know who took the photo? Max's version of upskirting for a middle aged woman?

WomanStanleyWoman · 25/01/2022 00:33

@Fiddlersgreen

Does that mean it’s going to clash with Eastenders? I’m surprised itv want to take that ratings risk but I guess most people don’t watch “live” anymore
I think it demonstrates how far EastEnders has fallen in popularity. ITV would never have risked this ten, or even five years ago.

Please tell me I’m not alone in still really disliking Kate Connor even though she’s not in it anymore. What would she have done if Johnny hadn’t died and she didn’t have inheritance money? Doubt it would occur to her to get a job. She couldn’t even be bothered to come back for her dad’s funeral (I’m glad because the actress was awful) but quick enough to grab his money. Eugh such a brat.
I’m thinking far too deeply about this 😂

Honeyroar · 25/01/2022 13:44

Nobody who isn’t currently living on the street ever goes to weddings or funerals. There’s a bouncer at the end of the road - once you’ve gone you’re gone forever!

Akire · 25/01/2022 14:25

Yes Kate was what on permeant holiday in Thailand or something. Get a job indeed. Poor Carla no story lines for her

mycatisannoying · 25/01/2022 17:03

How could Craig possibly become a policeman?
He comes across as a bit simple, not helped by his mouth hanging open.
Sally is doing my head in too. Talk about making it all about her!

Juletide · 25/01/2022 17:07

Am I alone in not seeing the hunkiness in Jenny's bloke?

Akire · 25/01/2022 17:08

Poor Craig back in 1980s you could get away with putting something in for mate for test that costs £££ same as you could get Reg number pulled on the QT. But you be daft not know that now.

mycatisannoying · 25/01/2022 17:27

He's great! And I wouldn't say no Blush Do you reckon he's totally legit though?
StEval · 25/01/2022 17:32

Agree he reminds me of Russell Howard, slightly cross eyed 😬 Also think hes dodgy. Sally and The Wee has to go down as the most ridiculous story ever.
eddiemairswife · 25/01/2022 17:37

Craig was quite good as a fat schoolboy with a pet rat, but he's hopeless as a police officer.

Akire · 25/01/2022 17:42

Shame really it’s not as if street doesn’t have massive crime rate he could be DC.I in no time.

joydivisionovengloves71 · 25/01/2022 17:51

A decent policeman wouldn't start every sentence 'I'm not really supposed to say anything, but...'
SpookyMargot · 25/01/2022 19:06

If I was Sally, I'd turn the 'wee' scandal into a campaign issue about menopause and incontinence issues, and that if elected as councillor I'd bring in more public toilets (Corrie writers, you can have that storyline for free 😂 )

Agree with this, I quit EastEnders nearly 4 years ago and I don't miss it
