That was the best all the old dancers back together again I've seen on the show. Even the worst of the dancers were better than they had been. That was a lot of fun.

Yes. That's what I wanted from Rose and Gio's showdance, something like that. Not all the wafting about.

I just said to DH that’s what the show dances used to be like.

Sorry to butt in. I’ve not watched this season cos I’m sick of all the shrieking and emoting but just tuned in for the final. Very disappointing dull dances. I love watching men dance but Johannes doesn’t showcase his partner and John isn’t finalist standard for me. Rose is better but I hate barefoot wafting.

I used to love Zoe Ball hosting the SCD tour because she would actually come into the arena dancing with all the dancers. Way better than Tess presenting the tv show.

I agree @IReallyLikeCrows and I like how they danced / interacted with one another rather than just their partner!
