Gutted to see AJ still on crutches. I find it hard to believe that she'll be dancing on Saturday. The producers must be testing their hair out trying to work out how to fill the time slot if they only have two dancers, and also holding their breath each day as Rose, Gio, J&J do their Covid tests.

Tilly's not coming back for the final because she's got Covid apparently. The rate it's going round London I wouldn't want to be staging a huge live TV show.

AJ has basically said on her Instagram she can't weight bear on that foot without agonising pain, and that they won't be able to rehearse ahead of the final so I don't see that she'll be ready to dance at all by Saturday

That's such bad luck, she's been amazing. As has Kai.

Oh just watched ITT and really felt for AJ. She was quite upset. Said couldn’t bear any weight in the foot at all. It’s not sounding good at all actually really gutted as she was my favoured winner (I do like the other two also) and if she isn’t even able to perform that’s just devastating. I say that as I’m watching the end of ITT with the wanted and the signer has a brain tumour so getting things in perspective it’s only a dance show obviously.

I had impression Janette and ITT was told not to discuss the injury too much or make too much of it. They moved in relatively quickly abs don’t let AJ dwell too much. Understandable as they’ll want to keep it low key. Gutted for her though.

Poor AJ. And ligament damage can take a long time to heal, afaik.

Gutted for AJ and Kai. Hoping for a miracle, but even if they can perform, they won't have any rehearsal time.

I am heartbroken for AJ. I was in tears watching her on It Takes Two tonight. I tore a ligament in my knee in MAY and I am still having problems and on strong painkillers. It will be a miracle if she can dance on Saturday but I am hoping for a miracle.

How many 2 person finals have there been? From memory Colin Jackson versus Darren Gough but 2005 was the last one I watched before I went to Uni and didn't resume watching properly until 2012, so I may have missed some.

When Robert withdrew the producers should have skipped an elimination one week in case anyone else had to withdraw due to injury or Covid.

Poor AJ must be gutted, especially at this stage.

The one with Chris Hollins and Ricky Whittle was a two person final.

Think Zoe Ball was in the final with Colin Jackson and Darren Gough

It is a shame they can’t bring Rhys and Nancy back.
