Wasn't very keen- very surprised as I love a true crime based drama and OC but it was a bit 'arty' for me

It's very cleverly filmed. I quite enjoyed it.

Well acted,very different, got a bit tired of all the swearing from the police! Not sure how it will stretch to four episodes.

Didn’t realise until this thread that it’s based on a true story.

We loved it. Have watched three episodes tonight. It’s brilliantly shot and acted.

Also I am from Nottingham and it's great to hear our accent on tv It is a notoriously hard one to crack.
The female detective does it so well I had to look up where she is from! Bury.

And it was annoying me where I knew her partner from. Worked out he was Fingers in Gavin and Stacey.

Doing my head in so far, seems a bit pretentiously filmed, everything is out of bloody focus

Well I fell asleep after about 20 minutes!

On episode 3 and I love it. Never heard of this story before so must do a bit of googling. Like a PP I love the female detective her accent is brilliant I kept thinking it was Vickey McClure she was speaking but out of shot. I quiet like the ramshackle police team, a bit fed up with most shows being line of duty style even when it's true crime.

The chief detective wearing the cowboy hat did make me laugh although I'm a bit lost on the whole Gerard Depardieu thing 🤔

I watched ep1 last night. Had high expectations as someone I know raved about it. It was a bit of a let down. OC is OC. Police portrayed as if it were a comedy.

Absolutely hated it. The cringey dream sequences ruined it. Awful.

The female policewoman is the lady who was the hard ass news manager lady in Bridget Jones’s baby. Spotted her instantly. Actually I’m just guessing but I’m pretty sure

She is! She's excellent

I'm enjoying it though its a bit weird.

But I'm slightly concerned about the ethics around making it all artsy, while the pair of them are still about and in prison

I thought it was shite.

I finished it today, absolutely loved it although
I missed something, why did they keep showing her as a child in that field?
