I need to find a really good series to watch. Watched plenty recently that are fine but want something where I can't wait for the next episode. Want something really gripping with a good strong storyline and not comedy as I've got plenty of comedies I already want to see. Can be on any streaming service.

Things I've seen and loved are:
Game of Thrones
Stranger Things
Killing Eve
Breaking Bad
You
Lost in Space
Virgin River
Bodyguard
The Handmaid's Tale
The Walking Dead
Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Good Girls
Insatiable
iZombie
Lost
Maid
Mare of Easttown
Pretty Little Liars
The 100
Vikings

Dopesick on Disney+. The first 5 episodes of 8 are on there. Totally gripping and I don't get gripped easily

RatherBeRiding · 07/12/2021 12:06

The Killing - BBC iplayer.

Delphinna · 07/12/2021 12:07

Outlander is great if you haven’t seen it.

WeAllHaveWings · 07/12/2021 12:15

We are watching Queen of the South.

Mexican drug cartel saga with a female protagonist. We got bored of The Handmaid's Tale somewhere in the second series and started this. Now on series 4.

Thanks for the suggestions. Haven't seen any of these so will check them all out.

minipie · 07/12/2021 18:47

Came on to say Dopesick but, er…

You’ve probably seen them ages ago but I will mention Homeland and Orange is the New Black. Oh and The Morning Show.

whatnumber · 07/12/2021 18:49

Succession.
I cannot express how good it is and I am envious of anyone who hasn't seen it as they are in for such a treat!

Noorandapples · 07/12/2021 18:50

Peaky Blinders, a bit gory but amazing storylines and an incredible look at early 1900's working class lives

MrsCremuel · 07/12/2021 18:52

Ripper St all on amazon prime.

I’m currently obsessed with Succession which isn’t much like your list but then it’s one of a kind. White Lotus is v good - both on sky.

The Witcher on Netflix

A new one I’ve not seen on Prime - Wheel of Time

Happy Valley on the BBC - like Mare but in Yorkshire

DelphiniumBlue · 07/12/2021 18:58

We've been watching a lot of Scandi drama - Occupied, Borgen, Katla and The Valhalla Murders. I'd recommend all of those.

PollyGray · 07/12/2021 18:58

The Wire
The Bridge
The Big C
