I think it's a pretty good QF as QFs go.

I maintain that Rose will win the whole thing. I don't think she's ever even been in a dance off, which suggests that both judges and the public love her. She's in no danger whatsoever. Realistically I don't think Dan will make the final. Rhys saved himself tonight.

I hope Rose will win as I think she's got it all - she's enjoyed it and showed that joy, had a "journey", not danced before, overcome a huge hurdle... However, Dan also hasn't ever been in a dance off despite always being near the bottom of judges' scores - his public support must be huge

I love Aj but her bum in the air was awful. John looks not as good as he could as Johannes needs to tone it down slightly as he make John look bad. Dan is dire he looked like a plastic action man toy being moved each time into position.

I like Rose and Gio. Rhys was good last night and it looked like he was going to kiss her at the end 😂although I think she’s married 😂

Rhys went up a gear last night his dance was brilliant! No way he should be in another DO after that performance...hard to say now but it should be Dan to go as he’s the weakest by a country mile ..

I think AJ is in danger zone as hers was poor ! And we know Dan had masses of fans ...

@xsquared I agree. I loved that opening dance. I've found some of the pro dances a bit meh this season but that one gave me goosebumps. I loved the story and the chemistry. I'm a soppy old romantic. I'm not sure the dancing was that spectacular but I didn't notice... I was too caught up in the story. I thought Oti was fabulous.

I missed last nights show, need to catch up this morning. Saw a clip of Rose and Gio doing a pretty unusual lift? Looked good.

Had a dream this morning about graziano. We became neighbours and were getting to know each other, he was really fun. THEN we were in bed gazing at each other. He reached over and put his hand on my face...

And I woke up to find my 4 year old was in bed beside me with his little hand on my face whispering 'mummy wake up'

I know. Bear in mind that they bought a villa in Venice when they became Italian citizens, and live in a fairly grand style, I would take much of what he says with a strong table spoon of salt.

Every week someone complains about the singing on Strictly. I'm not a professional but I sing in an acapella choir which has won competitions and awards. I haven't heard flat singing on Strictly. I don't always like a particular voice or arrangement and often a song used is synonymous with the original singer in such a way that anyone else singing it sounds off. Cassidy last night was brilliant.

Well, @WeAreTheHeroes, you know more than me about singing, but that first number last night did not sound good. Maybe it was my tellybox, but it was definitely screechy. However, usually the singing is good, and often just as good as the original artist.

I love AJ and I love Kai, but he needs to stop throwing everything at the choreography and tone it down, he needs to remembered she's not a trained dancer, and the more complicated choreography he does the more people will expect more for the next dance - which is hard to sustainable anyway, but soon they'll have two dances a night.

That's true about AJ and Kai - it's very ambitious, and I worry that she'll injure herself, as nearly happened last night. She was crying that she'd let people down - he needs to keep it a bit more simple.

Just caught up this morning.

I thought Rhys was overmarked. Dan undermarked.

AJ just didn't seem to be fully in the dance. Maybe all the lifts were on her mind? When it went wrong at the end I really felt for her.

I wondered if it was a combination of QF nerves, being last up with the expectations that that brings to be a spectacular number and the waiting often means the last dance is a bit jittery with the added knowledge that she had a (presumably) tricky lift to finish on when she had just seen the end lift in the same dance style go wrong. I think it was a perfect storm of nerves.

Aww that’s rubbish!!! Thanks for the warning though I do look on DM and it’s only midday so long time to results. Spoiled it for me a few weeks ago with sad face pictures of the losing couple leaving studio. I wish they’d stop that!!

This is why I so wish they'd do the results show on Saturday night. Getting harder to keep the results secret for 24 hours.
