Bloody Daily Mail. Did they come right out and say it or just do a shot of the losing couple leaving the studio looking sad?

I've had a look through, and there's no spoiler as such. It's a series of photos of the contestants leaving last night and one looks "sadder" than the others, so there's a definite hint!

This is why I so wish they'd do the results show on Saturday night. Getting harder to keep the results secret for 24 hours.

Missed the show last night and just now watched... will catch up with the threads later, but going by the latest thread title, I’m definitely on the same page re. the lifts!

I’ve loved AJ and Kai all the way through and voted for them a lot, but think that was her weakest so far - blaming Kai for choreographing and executing that disastrous lift. At least John’s disastrous lift was funny.

Rose and Gio, simple and beautiful.. gorgeous.

Wasn’t too keen on Rhys’s AT - probably because the Phil Collins number was all wrong IMO - although it was very well done, but loved Dan’s dishwasher music tango. Any balance issues were sandwiched into a lovely routine that started and ended brilliantly (I thought) so didn’t matter.

I would’ve voted Rose and Gio x 2 and one for Dan and Nadiya (only voted for Dan once before ... can’t remember now which dance). Too late for predictions, except to say tonight’s bound to be a shock exit, whoever goes- if you see what I mean.

re AJ does Kai actually choreograph the dance? or do they have choreographers and Kai just Teaches?

I think rhys almost stoops a bit when he dances I'm not sure, he bends over from the shoulders sometimes.

While aj John and rose are brilliant dancers, and I'd like rose to win. I think Dan has made so much improvement from where he started, more so than the other 3. So even though he's the weakest dancer I feel he's made the most progress. So I voted Dan, rose and rhys (never ever voted for him and was hoping he would be the one going but was totally wowed last night)

this is why I am so uptight about the spoiler. It is near impossible to avoid now because of Social Media. I saw it on the BBC's OWN Insta page this week. 

Bring back the Saturday and get rid of some of the shit they have on instead.

I'm staggered by the amount of people who think Dan is undermarked, he's almost always over marked imo, especially be Shirley! No way was that dance a 9.

I know they sometimes have help, but think the pros have a lot of input. Maybe not Kai’s fault then - I am a fan ;) - but whoever’s responsible must’ve known it was a risk too far for a long-limbed girl like AJ, however much of a fab dancer she is.

I love the Sunday show, but it might be better if they did results on Saturday night and had a retrospective Sunday show, featuring the judges’ opinions/advice going forward etc, a pro dance, singers and highlights from the show. Best of both worlds, no?

Usually the pros choreograph the main 10 dances, but they get help to choreography the specialty stuff - AT, salsa, Charleston, couples choice.

The Daily Mail are also running an article saying that bosses are torn between keeping Anton and bringing Bruno back - can we start a petition to keep Anton?!

He's great as a judge (I don't like him as a pro dancer) and I'd love him to stay on. Plus I imagine he's cheaper than Bruno, never mind Bruno's carbon footprint from flying backwards and forwards! Surely the BBC has to take that into consideration also given they're publicly funded!

Salsa is not one of the traditional ten Ballroom/Latin dances so they'd normally get an outside choreographer in like they do for AT and Charleston.

Other dances are down to the pro but they can get help in from Jason Gillkinson or other pros who are better at those specific dances if they like.

They have outside choreographers for the AT and Salsa

I enjoyed Anton's talking about AJ's disastrous lift. It's sadly rare on this show to see a judge's comment that feels like an authentic and spontaneous reaction to a live performance.

I’m not sure what is going on with The Giggles.

I think she has dropped the pirn this season. As well as Tess’s errant sleeves.

There was a time when I would have worn all the dresses (if they came in ‘fat’) but there have only been a handful of dresses I’d be delighted to have a twirl in.

Maybe I’m just fussy.

Or it could be that Anton has outstripped Bruno wages wise and has malkied the BBC frock budget as a result.

Definite yes to the lesson idea, Sheldon. I’d hate a Strictly-free Sunday, but too much time and too many opportunities for complete arseholes spoilers currently.
