I think it's a pretty good QF as QFs go.

Don't know if anyone else has asked this already but how come when John and Johannes are dancing together John is much taller but when they get upstairs to Claudia, Johannes is taller? This is the third week I have noticed it. I thought it might be just a Father Ted thing as Johannes is nearer the camera but there was a shot of them side by side from the front and, yep, Johannes taller. But dancing it's the other way round.

I think the DO will be interesting.

NO ONE is safe when there are so few couples left. Unfortunately, I wasn't watching live, so too late to vote but I really hope Rose is safe and not in the dance off!

If every Rose fan thought like that then obviously she’s going to be in the bottom two.

They’re no point in playing games when it comes to choosing who to vote for because if every voter is doing the same then it’s the ‘safe ones’ who get no votes.

Votes should be about who danced best on the night, not trying to save those at the bottom of the leader board just because “they deserve to go through.”

Johannes scares me a bit because he always looks as though he's about to have hysterics. But I loved their dance.

Rhys might turn out to be the dark horse of the series. He's always had loads of talent, but struggled to channel it properly. As he proved tonight, he could be sensational.

Rose is a joy to watch, like a dainty little fairy.

Dan's tango was, errrmmm, rather pedestrian after Rhys's Argentine Tango. He was presenting Nadiya, rather than doing much dancing himself.

Poor AJ is probably exhausted and obviously gives herself a hard time, bless her. I hope she's not in the dance-off for her sake, but from a purely selfish point of view would love to see her dance that again without mistakes!

Did anyone understand the storyline of the opening group dance?! I was scratching my head over that.

Votes have never been about who danced best on the night. If that was true, Dan would have left weeks ago!

Well, looking at the videos of the dances on the Strictly FB page, currently Rose has 17 thousand "likes" whereas the others have between 1 and 6 thousand. So I don't think she needs to worry about lack of public support...

Am fretting for AJ though! I don't want to see Rhys saved over her if they end up in the DO, I'd be gutted.

Rose and Rhys were the best two on the night so that's where my votes went.

Someone (can't remember who, maybe Graziano? ) explained the pro dance earlier in the week on ITT. They said it's about two people who used to be a couple meeting up years later at a party and realising they still have feelings but it's too late, they won't get back together. I wouldn't have understood the dance TBH if I hadn't had that preview!

I’ve just watched it on iPlayer, johannes is amazing but should tone it down a smidge so that he doesn’t outshine John .
Rose is just delightful and I loved Gio’s face after she dived at him and they were back in hold.
I just can’t warm to AJ although she is a good dancer but thought her dance wasn’t great tonight, she didn’t seem to have her heart in it somehow.
Rhys was fab. Dan is doing well but shouldn’t be in the final.
I love Anton as a judge.

Yes I had to really concentrate to focus on John in his dance because Johannes is so distracting. Gio and Rose are delightful.
I think Dan and Rhys in the dance off, it it’s wide open. Such a great series though as really keeping us guessing

Then people shouldn’t feel horrified or outraged when the best dancers are in the bottom two.

The dancers who get the votes are the safe ones - not the dancers who people claim to be ‘definitely safe’ so aren’t being voted for.

Agree! Rose gets my three votes every week no matter what because she is my favourite - no “Rose doesn’t need my votes” here! This has to be Giovanni’s year to win - he’s been nearly but not quite so many years now it would be heartbreaking if he missed out again!

DS and I made up a brilliant one on the spot as were were watching it. I can’t remember all of it but at one point Oti was pissed off with Graziano because he was leaving her to go on an Arctic expedition 🤔

Rose’s dress was gorgeous but I think the costumes this year haven’t been as good as previous years and the lighting has been weird.

Not sure if it's been said before but I think Kai has the dancing look of Patrick Swayze - does anyone agree ?

The lighting has definitely been weird, quite blinding sometimes so you can’t actually see the dance
