The other thread is nearly full so here is a new one. The way things are going Naughty Boy seems trapped in a never ending cycle of trials - the public seem to be taking delight in his discomfort. He seems a bit immature and vulnerable - I'm starting to feel a bit uncomfortable about the way things are going for him.

David Ginola is very suave and charming - a real silver fox! ☺ Arlene is bearing up well. Matty seems a bit invisible. Adam and Simon are quite entertaining and come across as nice blokes. Frankie is a bit annoying.

The trial tomorrow seems to involve drinking foul concoctions - I think it will be a bit revolting. I'm glad they no longer seem to be doing trials involving eating live insects, that always seemed really barbaric to me.

I love the way Ant and Dec take the pi** out of the contestants and also take time to fit in some humourous swipes at our PM - I love their silly humour, they make the programme doubly watchable.

NB has clearly been playing the game. He knows how to get airtime. He's loving it. He's been acting, there's no way he can go from how he was in the first couple of trials to how he downed those drinks tonight. He's playing the game and thinks he's winning it now.

Wonder if it was mn that helped Matty get a trial 🤣 Bless him, he seems like a genuinely nice lad.

I think the way in which viewers are repeatedly voting for NB to do the trials may mean he will be voted off early in the elimination rounds starting next week. It would be good to see Louise and David do a proper trial.

Really enjoying the series, as always. Agree about NB, be nice for others to get a chance. Definitely want to see David take a trial!

I agree NB won't win.

However, I think he thinks he will. He's 'smashing' the trials, in his head, and is making himself camp chef. Getting lots of airtime, has gone from being petrified, struggling to being the big, brave man. The 'journey'. That formula has had some degree of success in the past.

I don't think NB will be first out, maybe 2nd or 3rd and he'll be totally shocked cos in his head he's a sure thing to win.

I thought Frankie and NB did really well in the trial - they both looked freezing and I'm sure it was extremely unpleasant.

We voted for David and Matty - can't believe it's NB doing another trial!

Think Matty must sometimes find himself in Tom's shadow - not a criticism of either, just the press and public are interested in Tom and have known him since he was a kid. A chance for Matty to be Matty, so hopefully they start showing him more.

Interesting that they have Jordan doing the competition vids rather than G, can't imagine the Fletchers turning down opportunity to be on prime time TV.

I'm surprised NB has to do another trial. He's getting on with it and bringing back a full house every time. Why is everyone still voting for him?

Can't imagine he has a strong fan base over some of the others....
I'd love to see any of the others do a trial esp David, Matty, Adam, Simon, Louise...anyone!!

I’m finding it increasingly irritating how much airtime Frankie is getting.
Trial permitting - because ITV couldn’t have predicted that. But even before tonight, she’s getting loads of screen time. And she’s bloody annoying (IMHO of course). Just piss odd and give some other, far more interesting people, a chance.

I like Frankie and think she's coming across well. I'd like to see more of them chatting generally and especially Louise, Matty, Snoochie and Arlene but it's not Frankie's fault for how it's been edited.

I don't mind Frankie. Tbh I think they're all nice but the show just doesn't give equal airtime.
I know I sound obsessed with Matty but what's his story? And kadeena's? And Louise must have covered so many big stories and interviewed famous people in her time... Where's the camp footage of them talking?

Theres no ad hoc chat being shown. Very frustrating. Far too much of Ant & Dec...... am I the only one who cannot stand them?

Richard spoke of how late they eat & go to bed. Are itv not concern about the impact this will have on them similar to Richard? It's ridiculous they do a trial which takes hours to film after the live show & then have dinner. Why isn't the dinner given the following evening? Then awake early with the noise etc.

Also while I'm ranting, why can't they air an hour earlier?

How do they determine the stars into the meal? 1 emu egg..... if they got 4 stars how would they have supplied the emu egg? It makes no sense.

I bet they do the trial & get stars confiscated over Simon smuggling in the salt.

I read that they have their meal about 1am after the trial and get to bed about 3am and then not wake until 11am. Their body clocks must be mucked up. As a person that can't lie in, I'd be existing on no sleep!

It seems much more scripted this year and even the drinking trials seem less horrid. I think the producers thought that Simon would be the 'joker' when he actually seems to be quite quiet - so they are pretending that he smuggled in salt and pepper (which surely you would save for the beans rather than sausages). - over to Ant and Dec for jokes about smuggling in the salt. ...clearly overthinking this - but it is getting really dull.

He smuggled s&p in a toothpaste tube??? Must have been an easier way.

Yeah, that was pretty stupid. I think one of them must have given him a look as he shut up pretty sharpish.

I do agree it’s a shame there’s far less ad-hoc chat, as that’s where you generally learn more about them. As @bonfireheart said above. Most of them have really interesting back stories, but we’re not really hearing any of it.

That routine and timings is horrible, I couldn't function.

Matty had more air time last night in that we actually saw him on screen!!!! Are the producers/minions reading this thread??

It occurred to me last night that the drinks could be milkshake and we wouldn’t actually know. Could be all an act.

Somehow it seemed more realistic in the jungle. The castle is so fake looking I’m not sure I believe the trials. Some of that stuff was just tv gunk in the challenge. Cold yes and yucky but not offal/guts like they have in the jungle.
