F.R.I.E.N.D.S - If you had to lose one character, who would it be?

So, I'm re-watching Friends all over again and I'm loving it! I definitely appreciate it way more than I ever did during its original run; however, another thread that was posted here got me thinking - if you HAD to lose one character from Friends, who would it be, and why?

To be with? Chandler I think. :)

Phoebe. As a person (character, I know 😂) I dislike Ross the most but he has some of the funniest episodes (I’M FINE!!) so wouldn’t actually get rid of him, but phoebe is just a bloody horrible person and it’s all a bit try hard.
That being said, I was never really a Monica fan 🤔

Probably Phoebe. She was funny but (like when they were talking about what friend they’d phase out) she just lifts out. More than the others anyway.

Although it would miss out a lot of funny bits without her I think the show could still move along.

OMG definitely not Chandler! He’s the only decent human guy on it!

I guess Phoebe as well. She does lift right out.

Monica, since watching it again, I notice the actress smirks after delivering her lines. As a character she was annoying and fat Monica was rubbish. Others would be Emily and Rachel's sister.

Monica totally did that! 😅 She also did this when her cast mates delivered lines; but perception is a funny thing, as I always found this endearing about her - and when she did this while the others were delivering, I always felt that that smile was an affectionate one!

Monica. From season 6 onwards. Could never accept that her and Chandler got together. Just never made sense!

Ross - then Rachel and Joey could have had a wonderful life together in Paris.

Another vote for Phoebe! I did like her character but just doesn’t seem as vital to the story and group dynamics somehow.

Id say Janice because she deserved better.

Mike is no loss. She should have ended up with David.

Phoebe - I think she’d be the easiest to slot out, didn’t like her songs.

The general consensus on MN is that Ross was abusive but I don’t see it myself.
