I like Tess and am sick to death of other women slagging her off. This is the Beeb's flagship entertainment programme and to have two women presenting it is great. When Brucie was the host, he got slagged off left, right and centre on here.
But she’s an awful, wooden presenter. When they show her visiting children’s hospitals and charity stuff she’s fantastic, really natural, but the scripted stuff is just awful. Plus she always says the wrong thing when the contestants come over to the judging panel, always talks over them etc.
We don’t have to be nice about other women just because they’re women. If Tess is the best female presenter there is then that’s a pretty big shame, I am sure there would be so many other people who are more natural and capable
