The food prep at the Slater's was a bit the wrong way round. Kat had cooked the frozen Yorkshire puddings (and burnt them) but Jean was still peeling the carrots .

At least we were spared Phil in a cracker hat.
Why cook the puds before the veggies were prepped ? Lol

I noticed that about the food. Ready Yorkshire puddings take about 5 minutes. Do them while the turkeys resting.
@Blondeshavemorefun there certainly are stables in London. Some in the old mews houses. One of my sons had riding lessons under the west way (A40 flyover) with the motorway traffic above! For a special treat they took the horses to wormwood scrubs. City kids!

I used to go to an indoor riding stable for riding lessons in the east end , it's probably gone now though. This was about 46 years ago.
I'm shocked that Scarlett is a horsey one. When has she ever shown an interest before? Not that we see her much to be fair.
Horses are expensive to own , even in a part share arrangement. I can't see either of them getting up early to go and help to ' muck out' a stable , especially not Janine. Very odd.

I did some searching Blondes there's a stable (in the right area for Walford given it's fictional ) where livery is £540pcm

To be fair, many girls that age want a pony. I entered the WHSmith "win a pony" competition year after year at that age and I didn't have any horse experience at all.

Janine was like the bloody child catcher dressed as an inappropriately sexy mrs Claus!! Handing out gifts to everyone Willy nilly, luring them in with reindeer! Wonder how much it costs to hire reindeer on Christmas Day? And Janine is homeless working in a pub?

They do play up to the whole 'Janine is a terrible baddie , but very misunderstood ' bit! As much as I like her character, she still murdered Barry Evans and that was unforgivable as he was nice and he really loved her.
I just hope that Mick doesn't fall for her 'charms'
